Chris Pratt expects many Nintendo movies in the next decade

Chris Pratt in upcoming Super Mario movie

Super Mario Bros. Movie 2 is still a couple of years away from releasing in theaters, so things have been quiet. Every now and then, cast members of the first movie will comment about the matter. However, most of their comments are usually nothing more than speculation, if they say anything at all. Nevertheless, Chris Pratt, who voiced Mario in the first movie, was recently interviewed by GamesRadar.

In the interview, Pratt says that “I can’t tell you much but I can say that there is another Mario movie coming. It gets me very excited thinking about the world of Mario and Nintendo in general, I think over the next decade we will be seeing lots of stories coming out of that world. I was thrilled, honored, and blessed to be part of the first one and moving forward I’m open to doing as much and as little as they want from me. I can’t say much but I am just as excited as everyone else”.

  1. At this point, I’ve pretty much given up on a Nintendo cinematic universe. I just want the Mega Man movie.

  2. I bet he’s excited. I’d be excited too, getting a mega check for a mediocre performance. Actual Voice Actors >>> Celeb stunt casting esp in cases like these.
