      1. No, not UK only. The promotion is for the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal and Russia. Russia is kind of odd though, since it is also a part of Asia.

  1. I wonder if NA does get it how far back ;):-( would still apply. I bought a new 3DS XL a month ago and I would love a free game. :D

  2. Thats pretty cool, but i already own the 2 good games on there :p
Good for people who havent bought one yet.

    1. I’m trying to do this now. Do I have to scratch the club Nintendo points onto the site ? because if so , I think I threw them away. But they’re already registered :S :'(

      WHAT DO I DO ?!!!!

      1. Hmm, i dont tbh, i dont know how it works. Trying contacting Nintendo an finding out.

  3. Wow. That’s just too good to be true here in America. I just got a XL 3DS and Professor Layton, but Super Mario 3D Land would be awesome.

  4. Stupid, that i may have throwed that to the Trashcan, cause’ i dont usually do anything with it. It may not have even com’n to me. Because i live in finland. Shit this thing.

    1. If it is there’s this code on th back of your 3DS XL to get registered, or workaround, get onto Club Ninty, change region on XL, ex: finland to Britain, and try it. I don’t know if it works because I’m in NoA region.

Personally I think(Because of the Original/Beta Version DK. They should make these 5 games downloadable, Super Mario 3D Land, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, Star Fox 64 3D, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Mario Kart 7, just so it wouldn’t be where if you buy this game, then you can get this exclusive.

  5. God. It wont work.

Gotta wait half month for buying the World ends With you(american version of course, from amazon…). Say if itf not safe to buy it from amazon from here in finland. I mean, region lock is not in way on Ds games.

  6. Just wanted to say from the info here http://www.joystiq.com/2012/11/28/nintendo-offers-free-eshop-games-to-3ds-xl-owners-in-europe/ it looks like if you already bought an XL it still applies to you. “Early adopters needn’t fret, as the offer also applies to systems already bought and registered.”

    and

If you’ve already a registered owner of a 3DS XL, Nintendo has you covered, As long as you log in to your Club Nintendo account before January 15 and follow the instructions there, you’re sorted for a free eShop code too. ”

So pretty awesome news, I bought my XL about 2months ago.
