Special Charizard Nintendo 3DS XL Announced For Pokemon Club Members

Members of the Pokemon Daisuki Club in Japan are now eligible to purchase this stunning special edition Charizard Nintendo 3DS console. The console was only previously available via a lottery at Pokemon Centers in Japan, but the console is now available for members of the Pokemon Daisuki Club from the 9th of February. Nintendo has yet to announce whether this special edition Nintendo 3DS console will come to the West.

    1. It’s a Japanese company, of course that’s not going to happen. They’ll pretty much either be Japan exclusive or international.

      1. Is easy to chose the regions desings, América and europe loves metroid so a 3ds whit samus ship colors and desing will be there best strategie..

      2. Yeah, I was surprised that they didn’t have a Metroid themed 3DS/3DS XL, especially since the series also had its 25th Anniversary recently. But we’ll probably see one eventually. Probably when a Metroid 3DS game comes out

  1. I have yet to see even a single special edition 3DS XL come to North America. Why is North America being ignored? I’ll never get over that Pikachu 3DS XL not coming to North America (unless it does later).

      1. Well I already have a “something” (a regular black 3DS). And until a special edition 3DS XL comes out (and one I like) I’ll never buy one.

  2. Can USA/UK get a Metroid 3DSXL? .__.
Maybe when you turn it on it make it play the jingle when you come out of your ship, and when downloads are done it foes the item jingle /)^3^(\

    1. You should be able to have customization for your 3DS jingles for when you turn it on and if it had an alarm clock. You could pay £1 for a Nintendo alarm clock theme or a system on jingle. That would kick ass… When I turn my 3DS on it would go ”FALCONE PAWWWNCH!”

      1. As well as it saying FALCONE PAWWWNCH you could fool your friends into turning the 3ds on and captain falcon jumps out and falcon pawnches your friend while guiles theme is playing.

  3. I don’t usually buy consoles just to keep in the box but I did with the Pikachu 3DS XL and I know I’d be tempted to do the same with this one. It is a beauty, and that’s one reason I gave it mention in my post about my future gaming room set up. Feel sorry for the American guys though.
