Nintendo’s ‘Year of Luigi’ is in full swing, what with two games focussed entirely on him – Luigi’s Mansion 2 and New Super Luigi U, as well as back with his bro in Mario and Luigi: Dream Team. But apparently, Luigi’s only just getting started with a return to Super Smash Bros when it arrives on Wii U next year. There’s some new screens of the man himself over on the official Super Smash Bros. website, so make sure you check them out. What do you think of this news?

Why the hell would you need to confirm that LUIGI will be in smash bros. They should of confirmed that you can indeed drink water also.
This makes me worried about captain falcon being in the game. If they leave him out i’m gunna be super disappointed.

Overall, the direct was a disapointment for me…only games shown were games they’ve already talked about plenty or updates to games to already released games.

For me the best part was the Mario and Luigi costumes in Rayman Legends.
You shouldn’t have expected anything new. It was stated multiple times that the direct would only be about announced games.

I mean it obvious since the stage luigi was in, you can see beetle’s flying shop from skyloft.

This was expected. The original 12 characters will be in the game! They’ve been in every installment so far, they’re like staples to the series.
Can you imagine a Smash Bros game without Luigi? Or how about without Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff or Ness?

I would have been impressed of the W101 or Rayman was on here. Luigi is an original character no duh. As long as I have Pikmin 3, I don’t really give a damn what new comer comes next since I’m buying next Smash next year anyway’
