New Bravely Default: For The Sequel Details Emerge

Japanese gaming publication Famitsu recently interviewed the producer of Bravely Default: For the Sequel and managed to get plenty of juicy details about the game. This special version of Bravely Default uses the previous game as a base for adding new features, as well as adding additional content. You can read more about the changes implemented by the development team, right here.

  1. Its name may be crappy, this game is one of the games I’ve been waiting for the most.
After all this time, I’m so going to preorder the crap out of it.

  2. ◾You can set encounter rate to 0. You can also increase it if you want to farm in a specific area.

This is one of the best RPG ideas I have ever seen. All those useless random encounters in traditional JRPGs drive me crazy (even in Pokémon). I was interested in this game before and now it is right at the top of my 3DS wish list.

    1. “Especially in Pokémon” you mean ! It’s a pain to have to wait the end of the combat introduction to be able to escape !

      1. Though I don’t as often now, I almost always would use repels in previous games. (but I’m still training some Pokemon in white 2 which I should return to with X and Y coming up)

  3. I’m absolutely dying to play this game. The mechanic of adjusting the encounter rate is an awesome idea. I can’t wait to see how this game takes advantage of AR technology as well. I saw a demo on youtube of a girl floating around a room and it was really cool.
