One of the games that Nintendo Switch 2 gamers have been looking forward to getting their hands on this month is the Kingdom Hearts Collection. The collection which releases on Thursday will weigh-in at a hefty 131GB. You can also purchase the Kingdom Hearts Collection games separately and the file-sizes for those individually is as follows.
- Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX – 54.1GB
- Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue – 26.8GB
- Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind – 45.2GB
It should be noted that reviews have started to trickle in and some games in the collection seemingly need more work. Here’s what RPG Gamer said in its closing comments:
“In its current state, the collection is hard to recommend without caveats on Switch 2. If you only care about 1.5+2.5, it is an easy recommendation on Switch 2 and worth buying. The Switch 2 is capable of much more than what we see in 0.2 and III though, as we’ve seen from Square Enix’s own titles. I can’t really recommend those unless you are absolutely fine with the performance in the Kingdom Hearts III demo and are ok with very variable performance. It would be easier to recommend them with a 30fps cap option like Capcom has been implementing in some of its recent releases.”
How is 1.5 and 2.5 the biggest game? Like aren’t those ps3 remasters of a ps2 game alongside the HD cutscenes and bonus stuff?
1.5 and 2.5 are the bulk of the entire series. Both KH1 and KH2 have more extra content than KH3, I believe. It also includes Birth by Sleep and Re-Chain of Memories alongside the cutscenes you mentioned.
