Square Enix silently replaces Kingdom Hearts Collection box-art

Square Enix has faced complaints by gamers that it used AI on the Kingdom Hearts Collection artwork for the Nintendo Switch 2 and has silently replaced the older artwork with newer artwork that removes the buildings and the clouds. The new art was passed along to retailers to update their store listings. You can check it out down below.

  1. They didn’t fix the idea that these images were ai generated. They just hid the flaws that pointed towards them being ai. The issue wasn’t that the image looked weird, although yes it did; the issue was that it was likely ai generated. Hiding the flaws only makes people more suspicious of this, myself included.

  2. Welp, they had to hide that weird five finger looking Donald Duck’s hand… but even so… his mouth’s insides look off as well…that and Goofy’s drawing is just a reskin from another drawing…
