Ubisoft Says Don’t Rule Out Rayman Legends On Nintendo 3DS

Ubisoft executive Alain Corre was asked whether or not the critically acclaimed Rayman Legends would come to the Nintendo 3DS as it has been released on a multitude of platforms. Corre said that a Nintendo 3DS version of Rayman Legends shouldn’t be ruled out, but he did say that it would take time to downsize the game on the portable.

“When you look at Rayman Legends you see it’s a very big game with a lot of levels. The graphics in 2D are also second-to-none. So, it takes time to squeeze everything and downsize it onto other formats But we’re not ruling anything out for that format [the 3DS]. We can’t say anything more for the moment, but we can’t rule the format out. The 3DS is a big success, it’s selling a lot of machines in a lot of countries and if we consider a franchise, game or gameplay style that can be developed for it, we’ll consider it.”

Thanks, Karl

    1. Well, Origins didn’t do well on the 3DS, so hopefully if they do decide to put Legends on the 3DS, it will be much better quality-wise and with respects to sales.
