The official teaser site for the delayed Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze has officially opened. The site revealed that there are six islands for players to explore in the game with unique areas like Mangrove swamps, Savannah storms, ocean depths, and the frozen landscape of DK Island. The game also allows you to play solo or with friends in a cooperative multiplayer mode that lets two players share in the fun together. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is due for release in February 2014 for Wii U.

Well, it could be a combination. There are lot’s of Wii U games coming out before Christmas, and the game could do better if delayed. At the same time, if they delayed it, they would have time to put some extra work into the game, updating the tekstures and adding more content.
