The Pokemon X & Y soundtrack is now available for purchase on iTunes in North America and in Europe. The “Pokémon X & Pokémon Y: Super Music Collection” contains 212 songs and costs just $9.99 / £7.99 / €8.99. A physical copy of the album is also set to be released in Japan tomorrow. This marks the first Pokemon soundtrack available on iTunes. Fans can expect more to come in 2014 from the Pokemon musical archives, including the soundtracks of:
- Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen
- Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver
- Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire
- Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl
- Pokémon Black and Pokémon White
- Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2

Absolutely can’t wait for the Ruby and Sapphire soundtracks.
I was just about to say that.
Same here. Especially the music when battling your rival.
I’m personally more excited for the B2/W2 soundtracks. That game’s soundtrack is just TOO good.
First!
Darn
Awesome, definitely legally buying soundtracks of the older games.
I wonder if the B2/W2 Soundtrack will have the extras for Emerald and Platinum.
And why would I buy this over Lady Gaga’s new album, Artpop? They don’t even sing in Pokemon themes. I don’t buy music or listen to music solely for entertainment purposes if it doesn’t have a voice to go with the tune.
Umm… good for you, I guess. But there are a lot of people that likes pure electronic or instrumental music.
Lyrics are better at conveying a thought and the emotion through those thoughts.
Music alone is better at conveying pure emotions.
Except lyrics these days are jumbles of autotune…
Then you have obviously never heard Colress’s battle theme or the Nimbasa Gym (B/W 2 Version) Theme.

And here I am waiting for them to come to Amazon MP3…
3rd gen easily has the best soundtrack in the series.
I’d say B/W 2 has the best soundtrack of them all. My opinion, of course.
I agree N :P Though 4th gen had some awesome soundtracks too ^^ Every pokemon game had xD
to each his own.
This here is how you fight piracy, make it available for a good price, at any time (aka digitally )
