Nintendo Online is reporting that the supposed spring 2014 release date for Super Smash Bros, was as expected, a mistake. The publication says that no actual date has been set for game other than a vague 2014 release. However, it should be noted that Mario Kart 8 is still on track for a spring 2014 release. Hopefully we should hear more about Super Smash Bros early next year.

Zelda HD in November? I’m not so sure about that to be honest. I’d say 2015 is more likely for that one. We haven’t even gotten a trailer or a screenshot yet, plus those games take a lot longer to create

Very true considering the pain he has got in his wrist as well. I wouldn’t even mind if there was a small delay for it. We pay for quality games.
I say let em do what they must to ensure a quality product with massive amounts of replay value.

To be honest when you think about it, the amount of effort and work going into these games, I think it would be very hard to get them both out the same time. No need to rush things Nintendo, no need to rush. Take your time. You’re known for quality and we pay for quality. We’ve got 3D World and other great titles for now.

Good! I’m glad that we might finally get a Smash Bros game that will not get released before Sakurai thinks it’s really finished. The original and Melee were really rushed and Brawl wasn’t as rushed, but still to a fair amount.

It seems likely it will launch fall 2014 or summer 2014. So far there seems to ben no sign of delay for game can’t say the same for 3ds version. People offten bring up the delay card because of brawl. SSE, and online was the reason for the delay. Plus it is believed sakurai was unaware of ssbb development until e3 2006. He had to rewrite codes and crap because they messed up some of data. Namco is helping with the online and some areas of the actually game. I guess another reason people are saying 2015 is what sakurai has shown. The game has been in development for nearly 2 years, I’m sure he has more done then he lets on

I’d be broke if I had to shell out $160 in rapid succession for both smash bros titles and Mario kart. Not that I wouldn’t mind having all three. Hopefully it’ll end up late spring/summer release, like Brawl was. Speaking of which, it’s hard to believe its been 6 years since that game, and 13 since Melee. We’re due for another game.
