Lace up those boots and get ready to take to the field for the third instalment in the Inazuma Eleven 3 series when Inazuma Eleven 3: Team Ogre Attacks! releases on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems on 14th February. In this latest addition to the popular football RPG series, Mark Evans and the rest of the Inazuma National team face the tall order of reigning supreme in the Frontier International Championships, while standing in their way is a futuristic enemy travelling back in time to threaten the very existence of football!
In Team Ogre Attacks!, the story opens 80 years in the future with Canon Evans, revealed to be the great-grandson of Mark Evans, watching a group of elite troops ominously marching down a street. It soon transpires that this formidable unit, Team Ogre, are part of a plot to travel back 80 years and defeat Inazuma National on the football field to change the course of history, which in their evil minds means creating a world without football. In order to foil these potentially devastating plans, Canon must come face to face with Mark and work together to preserve the fate of the beautiful game, while ensuring Mark and his friends can remain on course to be crowned the greatest football team in the world.
As in Inazuma Eleven 3: Lightning Bolt and Inazuma Eleven 3: Bomb Blast, titles which launched on Nintendo 3DS systems last year, Team Ogre Attacks! contains over 2000 characters to encounter and recruit, and over 350 in-game special moves to pull off, including players and a number of special moves exclusive to this latest instalment in the series. For those looking to bolster the strength of their squad, one connectivity feature new to Team Ogre Attacks! is the Ogre Premium Link, which allows a user to connect with Inazuma Eleven 3: Lightning Bolt or Inazuma Eleven 3: Bomb Blast on a separate Nintendo 3DS system, and scout special players and receive items not available through normal gameplay.
