Here’s 35 Minutes Of Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze Footage At 60 Fps

Tilmen from Nintendomination has captured some 60fps footage from Retro Studio’s latest project, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. To view the captured footage at 60fps you need to select the option for 2 times speed. If you don´t have that feature in your browser, change your Youtube settings from “Flash” into “HTML5″.

  1. 60FPS on Youtube? BS! Youtube re-encodes it at 30FPS. So, the only thing you will see is 30min of spoilers/footage of the game. That’s it, that’s all.

      1. In video editing… okay okay… I thought for a moment here “how do you speed up a YT video?” until I realize you meant in video editing mode.

        1. Yeah. Sometimes YouTube will actually give you the option to speed up video, but other times it doesn’t for some reason. It actually explains in the video on various ways to speed it up heh.

    1. The only reason I’m gonna watch it is cause I’ve never played any of the dk country games. I heard this game is supposed to be hard so I might pick it up. These 30 mins will either convince me or save e some money.

    2. Um no. Follow the directions to get 60 frames. Time’s are changing we should have had 60 frames long time ago.

And it really isn’t 30 minutes of spoilers. All the footage has been shown since last year E3

  2. I know controllers are probably optional. But I HATE seeing the Wii remote being used. The Wii remote is what ruined MANY games on the Wii.

    1. I agree, a lot of games had poor controls due to the Wii Controls, but I think there also a lot of games that had better controls because of it. Example: Metroid Prime 3 and Pikmen felt so natural!

  3. 35 Minutes of gameplay? More like 20 minutes with those huge loading times. ZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! For a freaking 2D side scrolling game!!! That underpowered outdated CPU must be running at max!!! lololol And those gimmicky waggle Wii motes? I thought those things were outdated like the Wii U lololol!!! Babies will love this game!
