While the game draws similarities to Shadow Planet Productions’ Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Forma.8 boasts an expansive dystopian world with ingenious puzzles and secrets, as well as lots of combat with great enemies – as seen in the trailer above. Forma.8 will arrive on Wii U, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, iOS, Mac, PC and Linux later this year.
Metroidvania-inspired Title Forma.8 Coming To Wii U eShop This Fall
Independent Italian game developer Mixed Bag has announced Forma.8 will be coming to the Wii U eShop. Due for release in the third quarter of 2014, the Metroidvania-inspired title is set in the distant future on a small alien planet, where players take control of the small exploration probe, forma.8, in order to recover a powerful energy source.
