Nintendo of Europe has announced on Twitter that Pokemon Art Academy will be gracing the Nintendo 3DS in July. The Pokemon art title was announced for Japan just last month, and will feature over 40 different Pokemon to draw, sketch and paint. So if you’ve always wanted to draw Game Freak’s mascot Pikachu, you’ll be able to do so in a number of different modes, including free paint mode for those who are feeling brave and adventurous.
Featuring in-built camera use and the ability to share all your Pokemon portraits on Miiverse, Pokemon Art Academy will launch on July 4 for the Nintendo 3DS in Europe – both at retail and eShop. There’s currently no word on a North American release, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled. Make sure you take a look at the Japanese trailer above.
