Latest Mario Kart 8 UK TV Adverts Takes Living Room Racing To A Whole New Level
Nintendo UK has uploaded two brand new TV adverts for upcoming racing title Mario Kart 8. It’s not every day a game can turn your living room furniture upside down, but that’s exactly what Mario Kart 8 is claiming to do. In two light-hearted adverts, a group of friends and a family race against each other in a bid to be crowned Grand Prix champion, but will their chosen vehicle leave them at a disadvantage? It’s probably best to leave the split two-seater sofa on the sidelines in this case – an unbalanced Kart is never good for drifting, though it might be nice to wheelie with a recliner next time. Mario Kart 8 launches exclusively for the Wii U on May 30.
This is how the “actors” should be, not exagurating things like American advertisings…

IDK, the acting in this commercial seemed a little exaggerated as well. But people don’t buy a product based on an acting performance. They buy it if the message is right, the commercial is interesting enough to get stuck in your head.
If anything, exaggeration is one of the best tools to get people to remember your commercial.
It’s actually the one thing that puts me off anyway…

Mario Kart releases this Friday btw. And why do you always have to bring in Sony and Microsoft ad you don’t even own a Wii U (idc if you’re getting one soon) it makes you seem really immature to always bring in other consoles.

We are getting the best of those games for the most part.I traded in pikmin 3 at Gamestop for $35 and put it on MK8.And will get it again as my free game.You should just be happy getting any game free with a game like MK8, that you know damn well you were going to buy anyway.To say your getting screwed is just nut’s.No other game company has ever offered a deal this great with a brand new AAA game before. I like it, especially the fact that the people don’t say anything they can translate with horrible voice actors to Dutch like they always do.
The American ones were a bit funnier but these are also quite good. Now they should make a few more so we don’t grow hate because we see the same ad on TV all the time.

I would love if Mario Kart was like this lol.
It’s good but Wii u still won’t sell big time, Nintendo made a big mistake giving this to reviewers early, as now they can share opinions and statics that can be negative… 59 frames, 720 p, battle mode is terrible, also to much gameplay has been released, I didn’t feel I needed it anymore, watch dogs may have won in the long run as reviews will come out a day before.
It got a 9.0 on IGN while Watch Dogs got an 8.4, and according to every website minus that one, it is 60fps even in multiplayer. Who cares about that shit when the game looks incredible anyway and it’s still HD?
The thing is, Mario Kart is fun and people play it over and over again like crazy, something like Watch Dogs is forgotten after you play it once.
