Nintendo Updates Wii Sports Club To Version 4.1, Features Minimal Bug Fixes

A new update for Wii Sports Club has arrived bumping it to version 4.1 after its physical retail release last week. According to the official Nintendo site, the update fixes minimal bugs and issues with no real major enhancements to gameplay. Though there’s no particular song and dance in the boxing ring or tennis court to be made here, the update will bring a smoother run for online activity as well as a tennis score card fix for both North America and Europe.  Below you can find the official word from Nintendo.

  • Fixes an issue where the results of online Two-Player Team Play tennis matches were not displayed correctly in Play Records
  • Introduces additional enhancements to improve the user’s experience and enjoyment

Seriously, instead of having wasted time on these, they should have implemented online multiplayer for Nintendoland seeing as nobody really cares for that game…

    1. Either that or make DLC for the game. An expansion for a Kirby (like the fighter one) or Fire Emblem minigame (a la Find Mii) would be awesome.

    2. What would be the point of implementing online to a game no one plays anymore? The lobbies would be completely empty

Seeing as there are not many games with online multiplayer still today, but that will change starting with Hyrule Warriors, it would give people that already have the game a chance to play the game again with more replay value and would certainly raise the demand for the regular Premium bundle…

i’ll will never understand why the heck did they make each sport so expensive.

Full game had 5 games and cost 40 dollars, 1 game costs 10 dollars, divided by 5, the standalone games should have cost around 8 dollars…

          1. Boxing and Baseball 2 for 1 $10
Considering how bad they made boxing and how awesome the gamepad is in baseball, that’s not a bad deal.
