Nintendo has released some new themes on the Nintendo 3DS eShop including brand new Mario and Rosalina themes. Those of you that want to save your cash will be pleased to know that there are currently four free themes to try out. To check them out go to the recently added Theme Shop on your Nintendo 3DS or 2DS.

Of course they are, in the US we rarely get the freebies. For instance we never got the Wii U DS brain age or the free Super Mario DX free download on the 3DS.

Go to the Eshop and link your Nintendo Network account with your Club Nintendo account. Then the software will be registered automatically
You can`T get a free game with only a bought game! You need a 3DS-registration-code too. Either a 2DS, a 3DS or a 3DS XL-code. Otherwise you cannot get it. Its only for 2DS/3DS/3DS XL-Users, that now bought a 3DS. That is because it would be a bit unfair…because in a few months the NEW 3DS COMES OUT!

Guys, it seems that they’re not free. When you try to download them, an error pops out, and in some countries, it has already displayed prices. Btw, that’s a shame, they could give us these 4, it isn’t a really big money for them.
They are free but the server is overloaded probably.
If play smash frequently, you’ll soon find Themes are a pain in the ass. The glitch where once you turn off smash, your theme resets has me not giving a fuck about themes till they fix it. :/
I haven’t had this issue once and SSB 3ds has been in my 3ds since the 3rd. I did download the update for the wallpapers a week or so after it came out though, so who knows.
Looks like it’s not everyone. Some people are having their entire 3DS wiped clean, losing all data, so maybe I’m lucky I only have the reset glitch. Also, it isn’t smash after all, it’s anytime the system resets or reboots. I’m kinda scared at this point and am backing my data to my PC.

Nintendo really needs to release a Metroid theme, or at least something that appeals more to adults. I’m sticking to the black theme until then.
I’m an adult and like all of them for the most part, the 8-Bit Mario at least should be appreciated by any adult. It should have more series variety though, definitely. But being an adult isn’t the reason.

Yeah, and when I tried to download them, it wouldn’t connect, even when my connection was a-okay, and then the next day, when I COULD connect, they weren’t free anymore.
