pokemon_thanks_giving_campaign

In this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Pokémon Company International will debut a brand-new Pikachu balloon over the streets of New York City. Pikachu will march in the parade for the 15th consecutive year, this time with a new holiday look and Snowman Pikachu.

To see the new Pikachu in action, watch this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in person or on TV on Thursday, November 27. As a reminder, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire will launch on November 21 for the Nintendo 3DS.

  1. I’ve always wanted to go to the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade. I never do, and always catch the middle of it on t.v while I’m getting ready to head over to people’s houses for Thanksgiving.

I bet this year I’ll see Pikachu float by with Ariana Grande singing in the background or something.

    1. I’d say Skylanders are as recognisable nowadays to kids as pokemon was to kids in the 90s. And considering they’re a multi-billion dollar franchise now, its not suprising in the least.
