Meh, I bought SM3DL on launch day and got bored of it after about half an hour. I’ve played the original SMB, Mario 64, Sunshine, Galaxy 1 and 2 and loved all of them, but this one was supremely underwhelming.
I second that opinion. My problem with the game is that it’s a 3D mario trying to be a 2D mario. They need to make another 3D mario game without the time limit and with 120( or more) stars to collect.
Everything after Sunshine was really meh.
I actually didn’t care much for this game. Mainly because it was too easy. It made me skeptical about other Mario handheld games. I also never bought New Super Mario Bros. 2 because I didn’t like the first one.
Too bad that the bosses were just horrible and unispired…

I’ll never understand the criticism of some fans towards this game, it was absolutely fantastic, creative level designs, gorgeous 3D graphics, plenty of stages and worlds to go through. Just amazing, and still on the list of top 3 3DS games released so far.
