Nintendo Europe Unleashes The Super Smash Bros Launch Trailer

The season to Smash is upon us, as Super Smash Bros for Wii U takes Europe by storm today, joined by the first wave of Amiibo – Nintendo’s first foray into the toys-to-life category – featuring 12 of gaming’s most beloved characters that players can partner with, or take on, in the biggest Smash Bros. game in the series to date.

As European fans have been awaiting the arrival of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U on European shores, the game recently launched in America and with more than 490,000 physical and digital units combined sold during the three-day period of 21st November through 23rd November, it has become the fastest-selling Wii U title ever in the U.S. market.

  1. Good for Europe. I’ll be honest, I was happy to have the game first for a change, but I still feel bad for them having to wait. At least now they had time to focus on their studies during Mid-Terms. I’m now at 123 challenges completed with all 5 hammers left. I’m so glad that they let you use a hammer on the “Beat Classic with Everyone” and “Beat All Star with everyone…or 8” Not sure which others to use it on, but maybe the 20 Crazy Order battles. I aim to have them all done by Christmas!
