Shovel Knight from Yacht Club Games has won Best Indie Game at The Game Awards. Three staff from the studio went up to accept their award and thanked Nintendo for giving them continuing support as they were developing the game. Shovel Knight is available now in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Much deserved!! Fantastic game. Gameplay is perfect, the experience is authentic to retro, but with modern innovations and flourishes. The music is to die for too.
