Square Enix has officially announced Theatrhythm Dragon Quest for Nintendo 3DS. The next entry in the publisher’s Theatrhythm rhythm game series is scheduled to launch on March 26th in Japan for 5,800 yen. It will be playable for the first time next weekend at Jump Festa, where its first trailer will also be premiered. Way back in 2012, Square Enix producer Ichiro Hazama expressed his ambition to develop Theatrhythm into a series that includes other franchises by Square Enix, such as Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts.

Actually, I am pretty excited to hear this news. Hopefully this game will be launched outside Japan. But I think that SE needs improvements on this game, such as battle with using FMS song and etc

This games are actually good. Think if Nintendo can do the same with the legend of zelda theme tracks. Or even with Mario’s sound track.
I don’t buy them at full price, but I do like these games. Very fun.

I really wish these were released as DLC, even if $15-$20, That way we can have our songs in one spot. I really like these games, but it’s starting to get ridiculous.
