Square Enix Announces Theatrhythm Dragon Quest For Nintendo 3DS

Theatrhythm_dragon_quest_3dsSquare Enix has officially announced Theatrhythm Dragon Quest for Nintendo 3DS. The next entry in the publisher’s Theatrhythm rhythm game series is scheduled to launch on March 26th in Japan for 5,800 yen. It will be playable for the first time next weekend at Jump Festa, where its first trailer will also be premiered. Way back in 2012, Square Enix producer Ichiro Hazama expressed his ambition to develop Theatrhythm into a series that includes other franchises by Square Enix, such as Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts.

  1. Square Enix has become a cash grab, now making crossovers, Nintendo too, cross-overs = cash grab and cash grab = cross-overs. Why would they do cross over? To cash grab. What’s next, MarioXFire Emblem, SonicXHalo SonyXMinecraft

  2. Glad I sold my 3DS lol. I’m just gonna wait till Nintendo releases a next gen handheld that’s backwards compatible

    1. Mine is broken and I dont need it anymore, played everything I wanted on it.Now I m all Wii u and pc until I get ps4 too.

  3. Actually, I am pretty excited to hear this news. Hopefully this game will be launched outside Japan. But I think that SE needs improvements on this game, such as battle with using FMS song and etc

  4. This games are actually good. Think if Nintendo can do the same with the legend of zelda theme tracks. Or even with Mario’s sound track.

  5. I really wish these were released as DLC, even if $15-$20, That way we can have our songs in one spot. I really like these games, but it’s starting to get ridiculous.
