Bandai Namco has uploaded a new trailer for upcoming Japanese release Ace Combat 3D: Cross Rumble Plus. Announced last month in Famitsu, the remastered edition – which is known as Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy for western audiences – will include a number of new features, as well as amiibo support for certain characters. Check out the trailer embedded above to see support for Mario, Luigi, Peach, Samus and Link amiibo – which can be tapped directly into the New Nintendo 3DS to unlock new fighter jets. Ace Combat 3D: Cross Rumble Plus will be released in Japan on January 29, 2015.
Ace Combat 3D: Cross Rumble + Trailer Showcases Amiibo Support

Nintendo needs to find better uses for Amiibo or its gonna be nothing more than a fad real quickly
I’m buying them just for the figurine itself, let alone the functionality Nintendo has given them. So let it be a “fad” if you want but for some there doesn’t NEED to be an actual use.
Nice music. I don’t think this is my game though but nice with 3rd party support
That is true about Amiibo… but this game doesn’t look bad
Least my Samus amiibo would be used again, lol. Although, I wish the ship is the gunship from Metroid series.
No Arwing Paintjob to go with the Fox amiibo?

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy is a pretty good game! Way better than the Ace Combat: Assault Horizon on consoles! Y’all should check it out!
