  1. Does Nintendo have other games besides Super Mario Kart and Kirby’s Dreamland (N)?? I feel those games are part of the rewards every other month or so.

  2. Can Nintendo please just euthanize this program. Its getting old not getting any physical rewards. Scrap this and come up with something better. Maybe even discounts off physical game copies or maybe a loyalty thing where members can get games a day in advance (digital download). Just an idea.

  3. I just picked up A Kappa’s Trail– I was always a little curious about it, but only recently did I learn it was from the same people who brought us Mother 3, and even includes a few Mother 3 cameos! That’s worth 200 points right there.

    1. ooh dude, its such a cute and obscure game. Im a little excited that more people get to try it. Though I never beat it, it got as hard af for me near the end.

  4. Fucking really? Stop releasing Wii games already, & Kirby games. Fucking dammit, I can’t even remember the last time I downloaded a game from CN. AND FOR GOD’S SAKE BRING US THE DAMN N64 WII U VC GAMES ALREADY DAMMIT.

  5. Club Nintendo of America is really in a serious rut. These past several months has been useless to even be a member. Where are the physical rewards? Over 2,ooo coins and never anything to spend them on.

    1. Each month I wait for something new, and each month is shit. I have 1200 coins ready to use, and 300 coins not registered with Nintendo since I’m already platinum and don’t see reason to add more coins to my account. NoA’s CN sucks dick. Simple.

  6. You guys always complain about paid subscriptions, but what do YOU guys have? Mediocre Internet, shovelware-full eShop, and bullshit “rewards” like these. I’ll rather pay knowing that I’ll get quality games for free every month rather than get disappointed by Nintendo every single time

    1. And if we were to happen to pay for internet services on Nintendo consoles and get THIS, image how much pissed off fans will generate including me?

Mediocre internet? First off, I’m glad its free because it should be. I’m not paying $60 to play online thats free elsewhere and having to pay to use certain apps via Paywall BS like all Xbox “consoles” and don’t get me started on PSN/Sony getting raped by hackers every fucking week and paying $50 for that BS? lol You’re out of your damn mind for calling Nintendo Network “mediocre” amd yet not say a word about having to waste money for what? Not being able to connect your games online to unwind in deathmatches? At least Nintendo is keeping close eyes on their own services and giving the maintenance it needs.

Shovelware eShop? lol You must be sniffing your own ass again to think that. eShop is nowhere NEAR AS WORSE as Wii’s own WiiWare services which are full of crap as well as the physical shovelware collection I’ve seen in GameStop stores.

BS Rewards is the ONLY thing I agree with you on. Club has become a barren ass service these days I just feel like quitting at any moment and not care if I lose my 1000+ coins I have left to redeem.

      1. Hey, I have a really neat idea: Why not Nintendo make a subscription WHILE ALLOWING FREE ONLINE TO EVERYONE? Derpy to you pal.

        It’s not $60. Try again

Lmao, the only reason why NintendoNetwork isn’t being hacked is because 1. No one cares about it 2. It’s not popular 3. You get the point. Trust me, if the Wii U starts exploding in sales dem hackerz gun rape Iwata’s wifi

Giving it the maintenance it needs? LOL! NN is MEDIOCRE, compared to other premium services it’s complete crap. Why can’t Nintendo have their current online system, AND a paid online system with feature parity as PS/Xbox?

At least WiiWare had gems (Mega Man 9, World Of Goo). Can’t say the same for Wii U Eshop. Both are crap though

        1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Like Stranga said, online should be free, paying for online services is a scam regardless of it being better…

-Subject Shuhei Yoshida: “Lmao, the only reason why NintendoNetwork isn’t being hacked is because 1. No one cares about it 2. It’s not popular 3. You get the point. Trust me, if the Wii U starts exploding in sales dem hackerz gun rape Iwata’s wifi”-

While we keep enjoying our mediocre online gaming, I’ll enjoy even more watching you Sonyans and Xbots suffer from Mercenaries hacking and attacking your empires all the time, making you lose resources, gameplay time and workforce…

We know the ways of war…

                    1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

Yes but paying for a subscription is extra and I don’t want to pay extra for things I should get for free after buying games and consoles…

        2. Why make a subscription when the online is gonna be free unless it’ll offern shit ton of perks? It makes no sense on PS3 and it’ll do it again in this case.

I’m talking about Xbox with $60 you dolt.

Correction, the only reasons why they’re not hacked is because 1. Hackers have no twisted ass reason to attack Nintendo yet 2. NN doesnt need to be uber popular to be targeted; forgot about Homebrew? 3. Wii was popular in its time selling 20+ million a year for 4 years and yet, no brute hack attacks ever happened, not even once. So try again Sony Pony. lol

What you call “mediocre” because of maintenance, I call others fucking stupis and wasteful for not doing proper maintenance like Sony and Microsoft you have to pay for free online play and get through its BS DRM/Paywall to use fucking Netflix?! Stop defending such BS practices and charging premiums doesnt mean the service is better or guarantee it’ll improve. Just look at PSN. I can’t fucking log into it for entire month or two at a point and now even on PS4 people have issues to play their games even when its not hacked. PSN BLOWS comparing to NN and $50 a year doesn’t even grant an excuse for its pathetic measure or lack of security and function. The only two things you have to worry about with NN is 1. The lag and 2. Scheduled Maintenance when Nintendo is RESPONSIBLE enough to check, update and test their servers for a good hour or two.

Try again asshole. lol And if you dare say Origin or fucking Uplay is better than NN, then I have no more respect for you. I’m not making a second account to play games via DRM services that uses my personal info for third party marketing BS.

          1. “Why make a subscription when the online is gonna be free unless it’ll offern shit ton of perks?”
Which was basically PS Plus. You seem to think that online must be a feature for a subscription.

“Hackers have no twisted ass reason to attack Nintendo yet”
The exact same could go for the recent hacking @ PS and Xbox

“NN doesnt need to be uber popular to be targeted”
            Lol

“Wii was popular in its time selling 20+ million a year for 4 years and yet, no brute hack attacks ever happened, not even once.”
In a research done a while ago, Wii had the lowest number of people using online for 7th gen.

“What you call “mediocre” because of maintenance, I call others fucking stupis and wasteful for not doing proper maintenance”
PSN goes on maintenence far more than Nintendo Network’s.

“BS DRM/Paywall to use fucking Netflix?!”
            ??

            “Stop defending such BS practices”
I’ve never defended these practices. Rather, I’m attacking Nintendo’s inefficiency to catch up to the rest and add in standard features that have been on the others since day 1.

“and charging premiums doesnt mean the service is better or guarantee it’ll improve”
Charging premiums mean you get rewarded (free games, discounts, beta programs, etc.). There has been no promises that the service will improve.

“can’t fucking log into it for entire month or two at a point”
That’s honestly your problem. I’ve been automatically signed in for years on PS3, and since the start on PS4.

“PS4 people have issues to play their games even when its not hacked”
            Source.

“PSN BLOWS comparing to NN and $50 a year doesn’t even grant an excuse for its pathetic measure or lack of security and function”
The only security issue PSN has had in its entire history was years ago. Considering PSN store has substantially more games than EShop, better load times, simpler interface, a solid subscription plan, I don’t see your point.

“Scheduled Maintenance when Nintendo is RESPONSIBLE enough to check, update and test their servers for a good hour or two.”
Sony does that all the time.

Seems like you’re the asshole here, typing in angry and illogical comments while consistently insulting me. Whoops.

            1. And what does PS+ offer? Discounts on certain games and “free” games which are DRM tied to the subcription so when Plus is done, you can’t play it again. Bullshit excuses to waste $ on such subcription.

Now you’re damage controlling again on Sony/Microsoft online service hacks and again, I’m not wasting $ on whats free on PC and Nintendo just for a group of hellbent jackasses to ruin my day when I want to play online.

Actually, its true. Popular or not, there will always be hackers choosing targets for whatever reason.

And how on earth would you know that specifically? Is there a chart or set of number of people using Nintendo Wi-Fi back then? I’m sure the numbers are reasonable enough for someone to decide to hack it. Besides, who can ignore the possible 104 million Wii consoles with online capabilities and games?

              1. ““free” games which are DRM tied to the subcription”
                No, they aren’t.

“I’m not wasting $ on whats free on PC’
So PC offers free games every month? Got that.

“just for a group of hellbent jackasses to ruin my day when I want to play online.”
I can’t find a connection between subscription services and hacks.

“And how on earth would you know that specifically? Is there a chart or set of number of people using Nintendo Wi-Fi back then?”
There’s a thing called Google. You should try to use it.

“who can ignore the possible 104 million Wii consoles with online capabilities and games?”
100 million* and the majority of those were found to be offline

                1. Dumbass, I had PS3 with one month of PS+ after PSN was hacked and taken down for a month in 2011. I got Sonic 2 for free from PS+ and when Plus was finished, I couldnt play any Plus games anymore and the system prompt me to renew + to play it again.

        3. If WiiWare had “gems”, so does eShop which has plenty like Shovel Knight, Trine, Oddworld, Child of Light, Paper Monsters Recut, Mighty No. 9, Shantae 3: The Pirate’s Curse and so forth. So don’t get it twisted Sony Pony. lol

            1. Excuse me? Shovel Knight is great, Shantae is great, FUCKING ODDWORLD and Mighty No. 9 are coming and you’re doubting those games even one that use to be PS exclusive? lol You sir have lost all credibility to continue debating me. lol

              1. And all of those games can be played on Vita, PS3, and PS4. Coupled those with Journey, The Unfinished Swan, Super Stardust, Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture, Shatter, Sound Shapes, Flower, and more, I think it’s safe to say PSN has the better library, interface, subscription, and package. Although you’ve seemed to lose all calmness to have a proper debate

                  1. When have I damage controlled Sony’s recent hacking? Quote one comment where I have tried to justify the hacks. One.

P.S. XBL was hacked at the same time by the same group, Valve recently had to reboot their entire system because of exploits by hackers during the Auction.

  7. Oh god. This is getting fucking annoying to see. Nothing but repeated offers of the same old shit I saw last month and before that. Fucking A man…I’m waiting for that GOOD physical prize so I can burn all of my points, get the stuff and quit that fucking dull giveaway site which gives away crap after crap.

  8. Anonymous, a zealot of nintendo

I guess “A Kappa’s Trail” then, because I read developers of Mother 3 made that game.

“Super Mario Kart – Wii, 250 coins” Can someone confirm if it can also work on WiiU eshop, because that’s bs. It’s already on Wii U already! Oh it’s fine, because it’s Nintendo. -___-

  9. Does Nintendo think that people only like digital games for rewards? What happened to all of their cool physical rewards? Like the playing cards, Game & Watch DS games etc.?

I wish Nintendo still made CD Soundtracks to games like they did back in their seasonal Super Power Supplies catalogs. I used to look forward to ordering those whenever they became available. The two Smash Bros. CD’S are their most recent ones (for people who registers both Smash Bros. games), but there’s still none to choose for as regular rewards. Nothing whatsoever. If only complaining about it could make a difference.

  10. See, this is what I meant with “You guys get all the good games and we get only crap here in EU”. Damn, I wish I could have at least the half of those games >8(
