Harmonix Wants To Know If You Want A New Rock Band Game And Wii U Is Listed In Their Plans

Rockband was pretty damn huge back in the day and now the developer Harmonix wants to know if you want a current gen sequel. The company has put out a survey asking if people would be interested in a new Rock Band game and more importantly which platforms they would like it on. The consoles listed are Wii U, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. So make your voice be heard and fill in the survey if you’re interested in seeing a new Rock Band game.

Thanks, AMGZant

      1. I just did the survey, and where is the question where they asked which platform you would like it for? The only thing close to that we’re the questions on which console you primarily played Rock Band on and which consoles you currently own…

  1. No nope, no thank you,PS4 is a anti shovelware console and already has tons of master piece games out and tone more coming, only a failure of a weak underpowered gimmick like Wii U needs it,since only 1 3rd party game is coMing for the console this year.

  2. That means that an EA developer is trying to make a game to Wii U. If you don’t investigate, EA published the Rock Band games, so, they’re basically, going back under knees.

  3. Please can Rock Band come back. The concept is still as good as it ever was – just release one game for the whole generation (with a healthy stream of DLC) rather than a new one every other month!

I’d ask Wii U owners to do this survey because clearly the more of us that answer it the more likely Wii U gets a version of this.

  4. Some of this comments are fucking idiotic. You people cry about not having any games on the Wii u, oh but when a developer finally says ” Hey let’s release this on the Wii u.” You fuckers bash the hell out of anything non-nintendo. You should be fucking happy they listed Wii u in the survey to begin with.

      1. im a fanboy. but i like othing things too. like xbox. im not like the people who are like
we want dlc for mariokart. they get it and say no dlc your just trying to rip us off

  5. I hope they decide to bring Chroma to consoles. It is awesome. If you don’t know about it, I would gladly explain it. It is a first person shooter where you shoot musice and colored soundwaves (it is a kind of synesthesic experience) instead of bullets. It sounds/looks/feels awesome. I just hope they decide to bring it.

  6. If they just update the visuals, and add a few new songs, then no, I do not want a new music game. However if they get creative, and add in new game mechanics, maybe even add classic Nintendo/sony tunes, a music video maker, etc. etc… You know creative stuff. If they think outside the box and create something fresh, then yes, I would like a new game.

  7. As long as it would contain “good” music I’d hope on that train. They need to add video game music to it for different consoles. That’d be a good step in the right direction.

  8. The genre has had its time in the limelight. It’s best to keep it dead. We don’t want other companies following suit and releasing five music games a year.

  9. No thanks..play a real guitar people…or atleast that game that lets you atleast plug in a real guitar…forgot what that game was called..

  10. I can’t believe that games like this and Guitar Hero (and all the other similar games) were EVER popular. I find these type of games to be some of the most boring type there is.
