Majora’s Mask 3D vs N64 Side By Side Graphics Comparison

YouTube user Master of Hyrule has put together a handy video which showcases The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D against the original The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask on the Nintendo 64. As you can see, there’s been plenty of visual refinements in the Nintendo 3DS version of the game which includes lots of improved textures. If you were originally on the fence about purchasing The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, then this should make things a lot easier.

      1. Maybe so but then you’ll be hearing more hypocrite morons calling out Nintendo for “rehashing” more old games while they praise fucking TLoU “remastered”, a 2012 movie on a game disc, as the next best game. People seriously make me sick.

          1. Hello? I’m talking about dumbasses who will likely call Nintendo out for such nonsense. You should know how fucking stupid “gamers” are today. Look at UK charts to know what I’m talking about.

            1. What nonsense? That MM is getting a remake? Everyone wanted that, did they not? I consider most of you people here delusional, because you are. If I’ve learned one thing about fanboys, that is that they are exellent critics of everything, except for the thing they love. 2D Marios are rehashes, so is Pokemon. So are most of their IPs. Read the definition of what “rehash” mean, you’ll see what I’m talking about.

The only reason Nintendo is considered a creative company is because they once were.

                1. Well, there are idiots. I’m the most intelligent person on the entire fucking planet and the arbiter of who’s stupid and who isn’t.

                1. That game is creative with some of it’s features, yes, but they used to make industry changing games like OoT, Mario 64, Galaxy, Mario Bros 3, Link to the Past, Star Fox… It’s hard to be innovative in the world where practically everything in video games has been done.

                  1. Yeah, but does everything have to be industry-changing to be innovative/creative?
I don’t think it does, personally.
Creativity can be found even in remakes or sequels. It all depends on how it’s handled.
So to say that Nintendo isn’t creative anymore is a fallacy, unless you’re judging purely by the ability to completely change the industry with one move.

                    1. Well, shit. I didn’t mean that in the sense of “Nintendo isn’t creative” I meant that in the way that the mindset is usually “Nintendo is the only one taking risks and making creative games” and that is something that you can find around very often. Creativity is a very broad term and you can proclaim that almost anything is creative in one way or another.

                      1. Well, it’s not true that Nintendo is the only one making creative things.
Nintendo is just the one that makes their stand out by being so vastly different from what’s popular, most of the time.
They’re like the AAA equivalent of an indie in the way they do some of their games.
                        Another example; project steam.
Abraham vs Aliens using steam-punk weaponry?
                        Only freaking Nintendo, man.XD

                        1. Project Steam’s theme isn’t even nearly as aburd as Mario is. A fat Italian plumber who jumps around on huge turtles, eats mushrooms that make him taller and keeps saving a princess from a huge monster that is stealing her for no apparent reason over and over again.

                          1. Well, it’s canon that Bowser is in love with her, so there’s the reason.XD
But anyways, yeah, I’m just saying that Nintendo’s known for outrageous concepts and that they tend to do them in colorful ways rather than focusing on realism, and right now the whole industry is on a whole “how real can it look” kick with a lot of its games, so that’s probably where the perception of Nintendo being creative as a given comes from.
It’s not the same as saying no one else is creative, though. Only the fan tards will say that.
It’s just that Nintendo tends to stand out much more when doing it.

                            1. Well, Sony and MS have some games that don’t use the realistic look. Nintendo just doesn’t have any games that use it, and that is their problem. I know why they do that. They do it because they want to appeal to everyone, I never liked that approach, because if you are trying to please everyone, you’ll in most cases get a forgettable product. That is why Majora’s Mask is so well appreciated now, that is why GoT is so loved by many, Breaking Bad, Dark Souls. They target an audience that can respect what they are.

                              1. Non-realistic games are capable of that too, though; Smash is one extremely good example of that. Most of Nintendo’s games don’t turn out to become forgettable products, by any stretch.

                                1. FIrst of all, I’m gonna call you a moron now, because you are. You’re moron. No one said that non realistic games are not, but Nintendo in general tries to aim at as many people as possible. I also never said that there are no exceptions. Smash is probably the biggest game Nintendo has in terms of how much content it has, but Melee which was the best one for competitive play is still the one people mention and play, even though it’s almost 13 years old. Most of the games they’ve made until now for the Wii U have been playing it safe. You only remember them because you like Nintendo so much. And by forgettable, I don’t mean that you fucking forget it existed, I mean that it’s nothing special. That is why Mario Galaxy was so praised. They took a risk with that game. Sunshine, also. Wind Waker, also. These 2D Mario games, DK TF, 3D World, Kirby, Yoshi. It has all been seen for the most part, they’ve just made it with more things in them and better looking.

                                  1. And I’m going to say look in a mirror.

After all, you can’t even hold a conversation anymore without turning to insults the moment someone doesn’t hold absolute agreement with you.

Absolutely every single criticism you’re levying against these games, are accusations you can levy against the majority of games from every company currently making games for the past two generations, if not longer.
Also, to say that there’s “nothing special” about them is yet again untrue, or they wouldn’t BE remembered period.
The same can be said for many games outside of Nintendo.

But since you’ve obviously started on an insulting tangent rather than anything constructive, I’m cutting shit off here rather than letting this nonsense continue.

                                    1. Because you’re fucking moron. You can try and make Nintendo seem like they are better than they are, but they are not.

“Absolutely every single criticism you’re levying against these games, are accusations you can levy against the majority of games from every company currently making games for the past two generations, if not longer.”

Of course, and yet you said that Nintendo games are those that are memorable. They used to take risks, but now most of their games are as generic as their IP let’s them be.

Anything constructive means that there should be no insults? Wow, that is some logic right there since the word “constructive” means “constructing or tending to construct; helping to improve; promoting further development or advancement” and I want Nintendo to do better, not that they will, especially with these retarded physical microtransactions called Amiibos.

                                      1. Yeah, I said they’re memorable.
I never said others are NOT, though, but like a hypocrite, you obviously, stupidly, assumed otherwise.

Also, constructive criticism doesn’t involve insults.
That’s the kind of shit you do when you don’t have a valid point outside of your petty little feelings.
Hell, you can’t even explain WHY you feel the way you do about Nintendo’s games.
All you’ve done is call them Generic and then walked off topic like the rest of the troll population does.

Also, those “retarded physical microtransactions” have done more for multiple games than any opinion you’ve ever spouted. They’ve brought in monstrous profits despite their short release time and have done wonders in extending the replay value of several titles.
They’ve paid for themselves several times over.

If you really wanted Nintendo to do better, you’d be showing criticism on their Facebook page.
Criticism that doesn’t sound like a troll trying to get them to discontinue their own franchises and their latest money maker to appease your sensibilities.

                                        Talk over.
I’m done. You’d be smart to be done too.

                                        1. “Most of Nintendo’s games don’t turn out to become forgettable products, by any stretch.” I’m a hypocrite because you said this? You specifically said “Nintendo games”. But that doesn’t even matter.

“Constructive criticism doesn’t involve insults” I don’t know where that is written. I just called them generic? I actually said that they are as generic as their IPs let them. New Super Mario Bros. U, the same as all of them. DK Tropical Freeze, only put a few more things. 3D World the least creative 3D Mario game, it’s pretty much a 2D Mario game in 3D. Wind Waker HD, they left all of the models the same, uncompressed the textures, put a new engine and called that a worthy remake. Hero mode is just the game’s algorithm changed a little bit. It can be done in 10 minutes. Pikmin 3, the same shit as the first two, but with more characters and pikmin types. Other companies are always torn apart when they rehash games, but Nintendo is completely immune to criticism.

I see that you are trying to use profits as a your defense. Well, CoD makes a ton of money, it’s hated, Candy Crush makes a ton of money, EA also. Flappy bird as well. By your logc, it’s all fine since they make money.

                                          Money = Pro consumer, right?

I don’t care for Amiibos, but that is why Kirby is gimped for me if I choose tp play it, I don’t get a whole game mode in Mario Party 10, I don’t get a fire emblem character in Project Steam.

They’ve done wonders in extending the replay value of which titles and where did you get these informations? Hmmm?

On their Facebook page? Oh, I get it now, you are retarded. Who do you think reads that Facebook page? Miyamoto? Iwata? Reggie? No, some random emplyee. Even if Iwata heard me? You think he’d care for what I have to say? He makes more money by doing what he does now and idiots like you don’t care for these anti consumer practices.

Yeah, you’re done. You’re too stupid.

                                          1. Try saying that end line once you’ve pulled your head out of your ass, kid.
You haven’t made a single valid point to convince anyone other than haters of your bullshit.

                                            1. You’re funny. If you could have a debate, you’d actually address my points, but you can’t. “Haters” I love that word. Every fanbase uses it for people that don’t agree with them or say facts that make their favorite company look bad.

                                              1. If you had any points worth debating, I would have done so.
I’ve done so many times before with many other people.
                                                But you?
You’re a lost cause that just WANTS to hate the systems, if not the entirety of everything connected to the company and its fanbase.
Why should I bother refuting nonsense that doesn’t even have solid logic put behind it?
                                                Trick question.
                                                I shouldn’t.
                                                So I’m done with you.
                                                Been done, really.
Sorry if that upsets you, but that’s the truth of the matter; you ARE a hater.
Calling you out for what you are doesn’t make any of my past points invalid, much less make anything you’ve said anything less than a troll post from someone that wants to blame someone else’s liking of a company, system, or products as the cause behind why no one is listening to his bullshit, instead of considering just how flawed his opinions are.
You’ve yet to put forth anything even approaching a balanced opinion.
Get better at debating or deal with people calling you out on your BS.
Either way, I’m not going to waste another sentence on you.
I’ve got some Tales of Xillia 2 to complete, and no more time to waste on a blind hater.

                                            1. Well, Nintendo has this reputation that everything they make is inherently creative because they are Nintendo. What makes that game more creative than let’s say Evolve, Titanfall or Shadow of Mordor?

                                              1. It doesn’t have to be MORE creative than them to be creative in a big way on its own, but since you insisted;

The ability to instantly warp to team-mates positions after death.
Being able to quite literally steam-roll your opponents with one of your sub-weapons.[seriously, paint roller is hilarious and it’s just one example of the many unique and creative weapons that have been shown.XD]
Using ammunition to win in a way other than killing.
Being able to use the trail made by your own ammunition to not only increase your speed of travel, but to reload your ammo reserves and to also travel to previously un-reachable areas, including through otherwise-impassable grates, via turning into a squid.

I could go on if I took a bit of time to dig deeper into it, but those basics alone are good enough to say that this game stands toe-to-toe in creativity with any of the games you’ve mentioned.

                                                1. It does stand, my point is that people see Nintendo games as much more creative than games other companies make, just because they are made by Nintendo. A company that was once changing the industry with almost every game they made.

                                              2. What makes Nintendo games more creative than most 3rd party games is that they don’t conform to traditional style. They are always going against the grain, so to speak. Shadow of Mordor, while a good game, will be forgotten in two years. Splatoon will not be. Nintendo games linger because of their creativity. I could list a number of games to prove my argument, but I’m sure you already know of which games I’m referring too. Having a grey, realistic styled open world sandbox video game is the furthest from creative, even if the game is quite fun. I’m not biased against third parties, I’m just speaking the truth.

Although I admit it’s not just artistic style that makes a game creative. It’s also gameplay. Of the games you mentioned, none had a creative core gameplay experience. A jet pack is a nice feature, but it is not very creative. The core gameplay is still a fps, with traditional styled graphics. To call Titanfall creative is just silly. Shadow of Mordor again borrows from past games for it’s core gameplay. It’s nemesis system is a nice feature, but does not add to the core gameplay mechanics. Elvolve I will admit is the most creative out of the three games you mentioned. Although that is not saying much. And only when you play as the monster. Other than that, the core gameplay is still a fps, with grey realistic styled graphics.

Splatoon on the other hand, is very creative, in both it’s style and core gameplay. It has a mechanic where you spray squid ink onto the ground and walls, then you can swim up walls and over ledges to sneak up on your enemy. Also killing your enemy is not the prime goal to win the match. Covering the ground with the most ink wins you the match. Although I’m sure there will be several game modes. This is creative, simply becouse it has never been done before. In a sense, that is the defintion of creativity.

                                                1. They go against the grain? Splatoon is the only one you can say that for, because Nintendo’s IPs have the same core elements that they had 20 years ago. They don’t go with the traditional realistic look because they want to portray themselves as a family friendly company as that was what they always were, Now I could make a whole analysis of their history and explain that to you, but that would take me too long.

So jet pack and huge robots, climbing buildings in Titanfall and the whole Nemesis system in Shadow of Mordor aren’t, but painting shit and being a squid is? Climbing walls by being a squid to sneak up to your enemies is creative? What? In that sense of creativity everything is creative Black Ops was creative because it had modes that were previously never in anything.

Look at det? Familiar? Oh, no, poor Nintendo couldn’t have copied anyyyyyyything, they are the most creative of all. FUCK YOU!

I know you’re gonna try to rationalize this to yourself by saying “b-b-b-but, they have more features, obviously not the same”, If you were even thinking that, you’re a moron. It has obviously been done before.

Also, who are you to say that Shadow of Mordor will be forgotten and Splatoon won’t? What makes you think that? Any proof to provide that Nintendo games stay relevant for longer?

                                              3. Man I cant agree more in regards with amiibo. Finally some1 that see the truth, amiibos are physical dlc or lock on disc/catritge content yet Nintendo gets praised for shady ways to grab money but hell rain to Capcom from doing it in StreetXtekken.Nintendo fanboys are the most retarded fanboys of all and give true fans a bad name.

                                        2. Wow calling UK gamers stupid for having different taste in gaming is stupid.I dont like the game that sell there but dont make them stupid just because they dont buy nintendo games. You can argue that they buy overhype shit when I can argue that nintendo fans buy every mario SPORTS just because it has mario in it and dont even like the sport.

                                  2. that’s exactly how I feel whenever they remake a game and put it on the 3ds. there’s nothing wrong with the remake it still looks great, but knowing that it could have been in hd, maybe even 1080p is just disappointing.

                                    1. Yeah, this is fucking masterpiece. It should’ve gotten the best possible treatment as a celebration of it’s existance.

Not only that, but this game is made as a console game. You don’t pop the 3DS on a goddamn bus and beat 2,3 rooms of a temple or some shit like that. They can optimize it as much as they can for the mobile use, but the atmosphere in this game is made to be enjoyed in full, not in 5 minute play sessions and on a 4 inch screen.

                                      1. I know how long have we wanted a MM remake. and then they do it for 3ds, so it still needs a remake! I really was hoping for this to be an hd remake like wind waker because it deserved to be viewed in HD its that good.

                                        1. Well, they did it because it’s cheap to develop for the 3DS. Nintendo has that policy of making games as cheap as possible. That is why they make so many 2D platformers and don’t want the inclusion of online and a billion other features that they should be having right now.

                                          1. MM is one of those titles though where they should have taken that chance and put a lot into it. its one of those iconic classic games that could move tons of software, maybe even hardware. some of these nintendo classics just feel like they’re being neglected, like metroid f-zero, and the starfox franchises are.

                                            1. Nintendo is making only those frachises that sell the most. Mario, Zelda, Smash. That’s pretty much it. Mario sells the most. That is why they put him on almost every genre they have. Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, Mario Party, Paper Mario, Mario Golf, The new puzzle game with Mario, Mario and Luigi….And so on and so on it goes. It has nothing to do with lore because Mario almost has no lore. Characters aren’t connected in none of thsoe games, they act like nothing in the past ones ever happened…

I agree with you on MM completely.

                                1. You’re either a troll or blind. My 8 year old daughter just watched the video with me and said the “one on the left looks kinda mucky”.

                                2. Just no. It looks leaps and bounds better. They did the same thing with Ocarina of Time 3D. Vastly improved lighting, textures, BUT made sure that the overall LOOK of the game remains true to the original.

That said, they could have had the game looking on par with Twilight Princess, considering they pulled off a nearly perfect port of DKCR, which was a Wii game. But, if they made the game look graphically on par with Twilight Princess, it wouldn’t feel like Majora’s Mask.

                                1. Yeah, but more people demanded a remake on 3DS, rather than Wii U. That being said, the fact that the engine was already made for Ocarina of Time 3D, that may have also influenced Nintendo’s decision to make it on 3DS than Wii U…

                                  1. who the heck asked to play a classic console game on a small screen at 720p instead of on a console at 1080p. please nintendo did it on 3ds because it was cheaper and easier given the fact that they already had OOT engine.

                                    1. Some people wanted a HD remake, but the majority wanted it on the 3DS after seeing how well Ocarina of Time was remade on 3DS, so seeing this ignited the Majoras Mask fuse in a lot of people, with those people saying, if Ocarina of Time got a 3DS remake, then why not the same for Majoras Mask…

                                      1. They wanted it just because OoT was remade. I wouldn’t call that a very good remake. All it got was a graphical update, and for the best received game of all time and such a revolutionary game, that’s a disgrace.

                                        1. I’m talking more along the lines of seeing how it was made and how the touchscreen was implimented for. They saw the remake and wanted Majoras Mask.

                                          1. And I thought the WIi U also had a touch screen. That was not the reason people wanted it, at all. People were rationalizing why Nintendo COULD make a MM remake, they have the engine, models from OoT, the music and Grezzo. Makes buisness sense to remake it on the 3DS, but remaking it on the Wii U would make it better in every way possible except for the portability.

                                1. Up until now whenever I saw the 3DS footage it was just as I had remembered it. When I saw the side by side I noticed the colour changes. It actually makes the game brighter and more playful looking. The original was dark and scary. I remember the first time watching this on N64 and being totally spooked, and struggling to find Link, especially at the part where he jumps to grab onto the horse. The enigmatic fog of the original engages the viewer while the cartoon version of the 3DS is more like watching a cut screen. That said, the characters and textures are slightly less angular in the new version. However, when playing the N64 version I noticed that during actual gameplay, in daytime, there was no way to make it more lush and vibrant. They might have tweaked around with the contrast settings and saturation, but that’s not shown in this comparison video. I’m just saying I don’t think the game is as murky as that video, and the intro is supposed to be vague and terrifying. I wonder how noob friendly they made it, like is it as easy as Link Between Worlds now?
The only reasons to get the 3DS version in my humble opinion are for the advanced Ocarina of Time features, where you can pick the exact time you want to go to when you play the Song of Time. Damn that was tedious the first time around. And of course the C stick is a major improvement. Is it worth $50 to play again? ($44.95 CDN + 14% tax) No, especially since I have the original.
I wish they would focus on releasing these classic games for virtual console rather than wasting precious development time on what could be something new we haven’t seen before. I did however sign the petition so I guess I only have myself to blame, but hey I’m getting a Majora’s Mask new Nintendo 3DS out of it so I’m happy!

                                1. More dark than bright and vibrant. That being said, I won’t mind the lighting change, as long as that classic Majoras Mask feel is there in the atmosphere…

                              2. If you cattle masses stop complaining about every single little thing our empire does then it would have so much less bad image than it has today…

A large portion to why Nintendo is having a rough time is because of you haters and complainers…

If I only could decimate you apes…

                                1. Hahahahah, wow. Nintendo deserves 20 times worse image than they do. If any other company sold bare bones 2D platformers for 60 bucks, they’d be crucified. Or did something like Amiibo, or didn’t implement online multiplayer in their games until a year and a half after the console’s release (Mario Kart 8), even though most of those games were online centric. Lacking so many features, N64 and GCN support, but has the Wii U. New 3DS that is a half generation console that will have exclusive games, no third party content, constant droughts…

                                  1. Nintendo Elite Commander Quadraxis

Constant droughts was acceptable before Mario Kart 8 but if things like you that still think there are massive droughts then it’s your own funeral for not liking the games that are being released…

If you like Third Class games so much, why don’t you go bother the other 2 then?…

Why don’t you complain about those imbeciles that withdrew support from the Wii U before it even released?…

                                    1. They were acceptable? Isn’t that just nice to hear from you, the arbiter of what’s acceptable and what isn’t, eh?

Third Class games? That is some pretentious shit right there. So Nintendo games are First Class games? By what standards except for your own? Also, by you, it is ok for Wii U to lack 3rd parties because it should be a secondary console and if you have it, you also need to have something else since it’s gonna have droughts and lack games.

Wii U doesn’t deserve support. It’s a console with not enough power to be relevant in the future and not enough numbers to be profitable for ports, and if it doesn’t get good ports, people complain that they didn’t utilize the console. Do you really expect companies to invest that much into a failing platform? Well, you probably do. You are a crazy motherfucker.

                                          1. Nintendo Elite Commander Quadraxis

No, and I’ve complained and am against numerous things they have done since its release but you have never ever said anything remotely positive about the Wii U which makes you a hater by default…

If you can name 3 descisions that Nintendo has made for the Wii U, that are vital things not just some little feature in a game then I’ll stop labelling you as a troll and hater…

                                            1. I complain because they do stupid shit every day. I have said that some of the things they do are good in the past.

                                              3 things? Ok.

-They realized that they need to diversify their game library.

-They still make quality products in terms of gameplay.
-They have a huge Virtual console library for those who like old games.

                                              -Backwards compatibility.

-They’ve stopped using gimmicky controls in their newer Wii U games.

-They’ve turned the 3DS around even though it seemed like it’s going to fail.

-Downloadable Wii games on the Wii U is a good move, they just should’ve already had the GCN and N64 games on it.

That’s pretty much everything good I have to say about them, that’s why it’s more than 3.

                                              1. Nintendo Elite Commander Quadraxis

Good, then I won’t treat you that bad from now on…

And I agree for the most part, they do idiotic things that sometimes are so obvious…

                                      1. Nintendo Elite Commander Quadraxis

Third Class Games = Every rehashed gimped garbage coming from the Electrons and Ubisians + Call of Duty…

And I’ve never said all of them are garbage, I have ZombiU (The last game I’ll ever have bought from Ubisoft), Deus Ex HRDC and Bayonetta 1 + 2 so no, I’m not blind to the games that deserve my resources…

If those inbreeds focused more on creativity, gameplay and fun instead of pointless detailed hair graphics and effects then they could make real fun games that are challenging as well but they rather focus on the shallow aspects of gaming just like the majority of your misguided species (humans) do in real life…

                                        1. Yes, and I’m sure you own those games for the Wii U because all of the games you just mention released on the Wii U. 2D Marios are also rehashed, so is Pokemon, so is Zelda, so is Mario Kart, so is Smash, because by the definition “rehashed” means “to present (something) again in a slightly different form”

If those games are rehashes, so are these.

                                          1. Nintendo Elite Commander Quadraxis

And I’ve said numerous times now, the 2D Marios, specially the NSMB series are probably the most rehashed games in our empire’s history…

I even traded the Wii one for Skyward Sword because I got bored of it…

Yes and they are non Nintendo games which is the whole point of me not being a complete fanboy as any in here believes it to be…

                                            1. Fuck, Skyward Sword. The worst Zelda game ever made.

Yes, of course they believe you are. Your profile page is pretty much against everything that isn’t Nintendo, and you often shit on other companies in the comment section. You attack anyone who gives their critique on Nintendo, and you always praise them and hype up everything they make.

Not to mention that your name contains the word “Nintendo”.

I’d be worried if people didn’t see you as a fanboy.

                                              1. Nintendo Elite Commander Quadraxis

I liked it although not anywhere near OoT and MM…

                                                Still better than NSMB games…

                                                Well that’s a part of the game…

                                                  1. Nintendo Elite Commander Quadraxis

What bothers me with most Nintendo games except Metroid are the incredibly easy bosses…

                                                    1. Yeah, well. They make games easy in general. Mario games kinda went around that by making the core game easy, but then implement hard levels afterwards. 3D World did that beautifully. It had like 4 more world after the original 8. Zelda games started having a harder mode, but they usually don’t let you pick it until you beat it which is bullshit. The new Zelda looks promising, I hope they let us choose the higher difficulty right away. I know why they don’t let us choose it right away. First of all, because the first Zelda game had the new mode+, and also because it feels like more content instead of a harder mode when you unlock it. It’s just a simple change in the algorithm. In WW HD, they just removed the hearts completely and made enemies do double damage. That’s like 5 minutes of work. I would like if they made bosses faster or take more hits, expose their weakness for shorter…that would make them harder in a more interesting way.

                                                      1. Nintendo Elite Commander Quadraxis

                                                        Indeed, I hope it doesn’t disappoint…

-I would like if they made bosses faster or take more hits, expose their weakness for shorter…that would make them harder in a more interesting way.-

Of all people in here I never wold have thought you would be the one to actually express the exact same thoughts I’ve been having for cycles when it comes to Zelda and Mario bosses…

                                            2. No dude. People have the full right to complain. Nintendo keeps making mistakes and they deserve to be criticized for it. Like for example, look at the New Nintendo 3DS. I was excited for that and I was thinking about all the faceplates I was gonna get only for them to come out and announce they aren’t even bringing it to North America. And the one that they are bringing doesn’t even include a charger. Even though I’m disappointed we aren’t getting the standard 3DS, that Majora’s Mask XL might have actually made up for it. But it’s sold out. I don’t think Nintendo has even said when we might get more. All these annoying issues like the low supply of Gamecube adapters, low supply of amiibo, no third party support, no universal account system, and situations like the Majora’s Mask 3DS getting swooped up by scalpers in like 15 minutes have got to stop. Seriously, that’s just terrible. I’m getting really sick of this and I’m also getting sick of the people that act like we have no right to complain about these things. Nintendo needs to start listening and fixing all these issues. The only reason I still stick around with Nintendo is because I enjoy some their games but it is unacceptable how they just refuse to listen sometimes and do whatever they want. I really want Nintendo to do good but they need to stop making stupid decisions. Like I said before, I still stick around for the games though. I’ve been nice enough to let them get away with their mistakes before and I’ve dealed with it all because I still wanted to play their games. It’s the exact reason I have not sold my Wii U yet. I can see the 2015 games and I’m really excited for some of those games. But I really don’t know how much longer I can put up with this. If they will not listen to the complaints and they continue doing whatever they want, then I will stop supporting them. Not gonna keep spending my money on a company that doesn’t care about their consumers. Heck, I’m already convinced that if they don’t fix the problems with the next console that I’m not even buying it. :/

                                              1. Nintendo Elite Commander Quadraxis

Most things most of you compian about are things that aren’t even problems…

Just because you don’t like certain type of games that they make doesn’t mean they are horrible…

And like I said, maybe if you stopped saying idiotic things all the time in the web like “Who needs that shitty normal 3DS when we have the XL” then they wouldn’t be so confused about what their consumers wants…

And there is one thing complaining about legitimate things and another complaining and just hating every single little thing like those Noa and Jtz creatures…

Not saying you are among them…

                                                1. Yeah, I am not one of those people. I own an XL. But I was more interested in the smaller version this time. But Nintendo is telling me “No. Go buy the XL or don’t buy it at all.” I just think it’s unfair that we don’t get to have it. And to me, the problem isn’t just games. It’s the kind of decisions they keep making. Like when they prevent me from buying their stuff like the New 3DS. And that I can’t just import one and start playing because the stupid region lock is still there. The fact that I can’t sell my current 3DS for the New one because I need both of them to transfer or else I’ll lose my games. The issues keep on stacking up and its frustrating.

                                          2. Lol some people were scared of this game I thought the creepiness is cool the darkness in the game made it different more than the other Zelda games

                                          3. Has time in it, pass thank you.Refuse to buy it unless they remove the time limit, dont care how long its stays or if it resets but dont like having a clock rushing me when I m playing a game.I still have smash bros events that I will never touch because of this.

                                          4. it looks like they could have done a bit more on the polygon side there, but other than that it looks like a very big improvement in most aspects

                                          5. see this is why miiverse was made.. this is suppose to be a blog about majoras mask but yet… we have mugs on here talking about mario.. splatoon and whatever MM stands for….

                                            1. Actually, I’m pretty sure MM stands for “Majora’s Mask,” haha XD

But yeah, that’s how it always works around here. The site gets a lot of trolls and trolls pretending to be intelligent people and intelligent people pretending to be trolls. I soon realized that my sanity was safer ignoring them all, and I suggest the same to you…;P
