Kinda good news for those of you who want the Wave 3 line of Amiibo figures as a recently leaked GameStop memo says that they won’t adhere to a street date. This means that stores will be able to sell them as soon as they have them in. It’s handy if you’ve pre-ordered, but if you were thinking of going to a store and purchasing them in bulk then you’re going to encounter trouble as they will be sold as and when GameStop get the deliveries in.

As far as i know, the other wave 3 figures are available too.
You Americans seem to have a lot of trouble with Amiibo’s. I’m from the UK and we have the Nintendo online store, I can order every figure and they restock a good amount of times and I get them 2 days before street date usually.

This falls in line with my Walmart preorder delay. They initially listed the release as the 1st, but on the 17th they changed it to February 6th.
I only preordered the Bowser amiibo, btw.

how is this good news! now I have to check stores constantly just in hopes of getting ones I didn’t preorder. this is wave two all over again. why don’t they just get more stores to limit customers to two of a certain type of amiibo, then there would be enough for everyone.
I just hope that my pre-orders are still on. The $15 worth of deposits are still on my card, so I’m under the assumption that they are. Gonna be constantly checking my phone for the next month for text alerts for my pre-orders.

The only wave 3 amiibos I didn’t pre-order was Bowser and Toon Link. Because I figured those ones would be the most common and easy to find. I hope I was right.
You were, I went to Toys R Us and they had tons of Toon Link and Bowser. Kinda upset me that I had pre-ordered Bowser since he turned out to be common.
Bah! I was so looking forward to getting my Shulk amiibo in sometime next week, too!
