Here’s some great news for those of you who were considering picking up OlliOlli for either Wii U or Nintendo 3DS as Curve Digital has announced via Twitter that the game will be cross-buy which means that if you purchase the Wii U version you will get the Nintendo 3DS version for free and vice versa. Hopefully we will see more of these initiatives in the future.

I originally had no intention to buy it on a Nintendo platform, as I can easily get it on Steam..but, just for this, I’m buying.

Dude, I’m totally buying because of cross platform.
Might pick it up, then. Prefer playing on my Wii U, but most of the time, I have only the 3DS at hand. So, if I can get the game on both: winwin!
Too bad there won’t be any cross-save, tho…
It’s not technically impossible though, so maybe one day we’ll start seeing it more. More cross-buy, cross-play, cross-save functions with Wii U/3DS games.
Or the new system that will be both hand held and home console in one… My bet is this is what happens

That appears to be where it is leading, but they are just opinions and theories I guess…
Such a fun game. I already have it on my Vita but if helps to bring more cross buy titles to Nintendo platforms I’ll pick it up. Also, the game is more complicated than it looks, its not just a simple runner.
Anyone know if the 3DS version will have 3D? I’ll buy it again, just to play it in 3D.

The best! I would normally have no special interest in a game like this, but Nintendo needs to know that cross-buy sells games. I’m getting this.
