New Nintendo 3DS Faceplates Fetching A Pretty Penny On eBay

It’s not just amiibo which are being listed for ridiculous prices on eBay. A quick browse of the online auction site reveal that the New Nintendo 3DS faceplates are also being sold for inflated prices. If you want the Xenoblade Chronicles New Nintendo 3DS faceplates then you’re looking at spending around $60 and the Zelda New Nintendo 3DS faceplates are retailing for around $50. If you’re in the United Kingdom then you can pre-order both from the Nintendo UK Store for £12.99 each.

    1. Lol. I’ve been thinking that for some time now. So many sheep out there for them to feast on though, can’t really blame them.

  1. I have a sneaking suspicion that the majority of these resellers are actually Nintendo themselves. A genius way to empty the wallets of their most loyal fanboys!

  2. If we get these face plates in my country it would already be overpriced by the distributor and retailer anyway, so I’m partially glad the regular N3DS did not come to North America (yet)(because we share the same region).

  3. These seller a complete dilholes, as is anyone moronic enough to support these jerkoffs.
What happened in the world of Nintendo lately?! Between this, amiibo, and limited edition consoles every second week I’m finding it difficult to give a damn

  4. Couple things funny that we’ve learned from Amiibo and Faceplates. First, people want Nintendo products, so they’re not about to go anywhere. (I”m talking to you Pachter) Second, NOA is dumb for not releasing the other model New 3DS here, the faceplates are apparently a moneymaker themselves.
