Here’s Some More Information Regarding Soul Voice And Dialogue In Xenoblade Chronicles X

The Japanese Twitter account for Xenoblade Chronicles X has been busy as of late providing a whole host of interesting information related to the forthcoming Wii U exclusive JRPG. The latest tweet talks about the Soul Voice battle system and also the extensive dialogue that will feature in the game, which is due out this year.

Soul Voice, as thoroughly introduced during the Battle Presentation, will allow for lively battles, expanding on Xenoblade. It was hard work coming up with character-specific dialogue for the 20 avatar voices + the the set sub-characters, in addition to the audio recording of all of it which was also an effort. …Yes, the Soul Voice dialogue will vary depending on the personality of your avatar.

Thanks, N-Dub Nation

  1. Im just gonna buy a copy of it to have. Then once new Zelda hits, maybe they will pack a serious bundle to drive the fans crazy! Make it happen Cap N.

      1. Yeah, there’s a few things Nintendo should have done, that would have helped push sales. If Nintendo didn’t release a Wii U bundle (not even a custom or detailed system to match the game) with the new Zelda I would be very sad. I feel its the one game that will really drive people to buy a system, which also makes me think they wont do a bundle for money reasons. I’m not sure if by selling a bundle like that if Nintendo would be losing money on the game. Either way, it would be magical. And It would get me to blow my PC savings on one…

    1. Why wouldnt you just buy the system? The bundle just comes with the game and the same system… Seems silly to wait. Funny how, and forgive me I read that wrong, half the people who comment don’t even have a WiiU

      1. If thats at me, I dont personally feel that I need to own a Wii U. I personally think its a great system, iv played several games on it, I like the gamepad, I like most of the games. But I dont have all the time in the world I would like for gaming. More so when you work 5 a week. I do in fact want one, but I also want No Man’s Sky and world of warcraft lol. : ) ok, let me put it this way, im STILL working on beating super mario galaxy for Wii lol. Someday!

  2. Nintendo Lieutenant Cereza

Every time I hear more details I become even more excited. I bought the Wii U to Play Xenoblade X back when it was first shown. I didn’t even know anything about it back then I just wanted to play it.

  3. My Wind Waker Is Bigger (I.A.B.A.B)

Hollywood voices acting you say? I’m pretty damn sure now they will be quilty voices.

  4. do we know if the voice will be British voice or US voice? if it confirmed to be US I hope we have the Japanese audio as backup (sorry folk don’t want to offend anybody but you would have react the same way if they were other than US)

      1. Again, disagree. I always loved lightnings voice in FF, along with all the English voice work in the FF games. It was very well done..

        1. if you are from US , there is a chance you will say that but for the rest of the world it’s just awful. It’s not much the accent to be honest but the cheesiness and the retarded tone of the acting (personal point of view). And when I was playing at xenoblade it was way better.

      1. in a way it make sense cause the protagonists are from USA (see trailer) but the british acting in Xenoblade was very good and it would not be an issue for the rest of the world. Anyway that would be Japan audio with Eng sub for me then.

    1. I’m with you, but I actually played Xenoblade in English and do the same thing for this one as well simply because our characters have dialogue and voice acting (possibly?)

  5. You know, sometimes Nintendo confuses the hell out of me…

The original Xenoblade sold 150k in Japan.
The original Xenoblade sold 450k in the U.S.

So why is this game releasing in Japan first? Why are they marketing a game so hard in Japan that didn’t really do that good in the first place. It doesn’t make any sense. The game will lose hype in the West after it releases in Japan. Wtf is Nintendo thinking. This game should have either released simultaneously worldwide, or in the U.S. first. Capcom wouldn’t release Monster Hunter in the West first. Of course not, they would release it where most of the fans are first…

  6. This game just keeps getting better and better and I am so ready for it, except for the fact that I have not beaten the first one yet and I lent it to my sister somewhere before the end. Needless to say, she has not beaten it yet either. Personally I did like the British voice actors and I’m leaning towards that way. Either way, I’m going to play it in some kind of good English.
