The original Bravely Default was generally regarded as a stellar Japanese RPG so everyone is crossing their fingers hoping that its sequel, Bravely Second, lives up to expectation. Square Enix has just released as brand new trailer showcasing some of the changes that players can expect when they get their hands on the game sometime later this year. Bravely Second comes out next month in Japan.

why do all of the current jrpg’s have bobble head characters? with cat ears? it is driving me crazy. dying for the new fire emblem.
I can’t stand the gimped screen sizes on 3DS trailers. I can understand when they want to show both screens, but when they just show the top screen they still make it smaller to hide the low resolution on large screens. Many if not most people watch these on phones so it should be full screen.
Because 90% of people don’t understand the game looks better when viewed on the 3ds. Most people see the blown up blurry graphics and just assume thats what all 3ds games looks like… Square did the right thing to show their game the way it would look on the 3ds..

Majorsmask is a rubbish game with stupid side missions
That need to be played in order to be played to advance in the game that are to crap
And to hard to do this game is boring
Im tired of all this cute character anime bigheads style games, rpgs on the 3ds….
I can see where you’re coming from but you have to remember that:
A) When Japanese developers don’t have the money to spend on making things realistic they will stick to a more animated style (which is the anime style in Japan). People probably won’t notice this as much too if western devs made more animated style games as well.
B) The 3DS doesn’t have the biggest screen so it is much harder to define what someones face would look like on it compared to an HD screen. This is what I would hope the reason is, but moe stuff is also big for some reason.
Anyways Bravely Default isn’t as bad as other games when it comes to cutesy bigheadedness, so I’d recommend giving it a shot. The gameplay is better than most turn-based Final Fantasies. Edea is awesome too ;)

Are they gonna omit overly sexy costumes in the West again? If I’m paying for it, I’d like to have it with all of the original content.
I never got to play Bravely Default yet, but I plan to get it soon. I am glad bravely second is coming out.
Day one buy for me. In fact I hope they have a collectors edition to match the one I have for the first game..
