If you’re a Project CARS fan then you’ll be pleased to know that the Wii U version of the game hasn’t been canceled. The official site for Project CARS says that the Wii U edition will be coming out later this year, after the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions. Sadly there’s no explanation as to why Wii U owners will have to wait until after the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are released.
When is Project CARS released?
Mid-May on all platforms in Europe and the US with Wii U and Steam OS versions to follow later in 2015.
Why has the game been delayed?
The scope of the game is by far the grandest and most intricately-detailed that the team have ever worked on, and has been built for the future with a great deal of depth and forward-thinking technology. Combined with the teams own high standards and determination to release the title in its most complete and polished state, and the complex nature of some last-minute issues and bugs, moving the release of the title allows the final product to be one that both matches the original vision of the team and satisfies the expectations of the understanding yet eager audience.

How would u know its not garbage. Have u seen a screen shot or a video on wiiu. I dont think so. No one can say one way or the other how good or bad it is.
Look how the wiiu 3rd party that was delay half a year went. Anyone that wants the game will have it before wiiu gets it.
That i dont understand is how they think a 6 month delay will work on a console that has a small user base.

Are you sure any of that is official, most of those videos are PC’s running at settings comparable to the Wii U. A lot of them aren’t even Wii U footage either.
I don’t think there has been one official video released by Slightly Mad Studio themselves, showing the Wii U version. Unless I’m mistaken.
They also said the game would most likely be 720p a long time ago, but now they aren’t even commenting on the Wii U versions resolution. But they announced the resolution for the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions.
Your right, the videos are not from the company but people simulating wiiu graphics. but what can you expect from fasttrain76, had to start calling people names. Its what you get from fanboys like that. They will bend the truth to make it fit.

The PC version looks pretty good, but (if I’m not mistaken) saw a PS4 an XB1 version and it looked horrible. We will have to wait and see. The inside details of the car was very bad for a 4+yr development. but they appear to be working on PC version only. that is where all the videos are coming from.
If they had great PS4 and XB1 videos, they would put them out.

At this point, this game is vaporware to me. It has been delayed, and delayed, and delayed. This game was announced before the Wii U was even released.
In fact, there was a point in time when they were touting that the Wii U version would be the definitive version. Of course, this was prior to PS4 and xBone were announced for release.

Seriously, I was hoping to get this game so much since they kept saying that the Wii U version was coming and was going to be the definitive version and so on… but like the other developers, they decide to sell it after the PS4 and Xbone versions come out first. It’s not going to sell as much as they had hoped for our console like the many other games that came before it thanks to a delay like this…..

More importantly, WTF does the PC have to wait if they’re exactly the same architecture as PS4/One? I’ll tell you why; third parties are now treating PC like a byproduct and giving them delayed and incomplete ports just like Nintendo.
And people wonder why I stopped supporting multiplats on Wii U.

Wish I could say I was, but like most people, i only have the ideas, and lack the money and means to implement them.
That said, what I meant, was that I’ve stopped supporting multiplats on Wii U from third parties, because, purely as a consumer, they haven’t given me ports worthy of that full retail price.
Let me put it this way; if CoD Black Ops 3 comes to Wii U, it has all the DLC available to purchase, and it turns out better than Ghosts, I’ll likely support it if my finances can handle it.
But if its content and care in development isn’t up to par, or it arrives too late, I won’t support it ( on Wii U at least) over Devil’s Third, let alone Splatoon or any other shooters that might hit the system.

I believe that too. I believe at this point they gave up on the wiiu version, an its been collecting dust and once release they will do a quick port like watchdogs and be done.
Aww :\ While I’m glad the game is still coming to Wii U, I was hoping they would learn from Ubisoft’s mistake and get the game released for all platforms at the same time, thus they would win some points with Nintendo fans, especially if it turns out to be a great game.
These are developers that care, i don’t understand why everyone is upset with this. Surely Watch Dogs could have been much better than it was on Wii U but Ubisoft lied
Im sorry Ubisoft did do wrong but the development was in progress at the launch of the wiiu and they had a ton of software going for the wiiu but the lack of sales, caused them to rethink this and they completed the wiiu games they had in progress but that was way after they knew it would do nothing and fail.
So you can’t blame Ubisoft completely for what they did. I saw they did much better than any 3rd party companies. They didn’t just shelf them, they finished them and released then, even though they didn’t do anything other then a cheap port.
I liked splinter cell, I really enjoyed it.
Doesn’t matter which platforms this game comes to now. It will fail. If it had been a WiiU exclusive it would have had a chance.
