Splatoon amiibo pre orders are STILL going on, I guess they handle those somewhat decently.

I lost all faith of ever getting wave 4. I’ll have to be VERY lucky and find them on launch day. But I won’t hold my breath. This wave all sold out even before pre-orders became available. Makes sense of that.
Am I the only one who now thinks anyone who posts amiibo unboxing videos (especially of ridiculously hard-to-find ones) is being douchey? It’s like saying “look what I got that you never will.”
It was fine at first but now that the later waves are impossible to obtain these vids just make you look like a jerk.

There was a time I wanted them all. Now I will never attempt to own them all. Thats hundreds of dollars Nintendo will never get from me alone now. Imagine if there are thousands of other people just like me, who gave up trying to own them all. That turns into literally millions and millions of dollars Nintendo lost out on, not to mention hundreds of thousands if not millions of Amiibos that could have been sold…
Amiibos wont always be on fire like they are now. The hype will die down, and Nintendo will look back on these days with regret.
I actually had help getting SOME of the amiibos. My mom bought me all of the Super Mario amiibos. Including the Mario Party 10 bundle. And many others (including Rosalina). So I guess I’ve been blessed as far as that goes.
I got lucky and was able to get all of wave four except Lucina and PAC-MAN. I opened them all cause I think it’s only fair to actually use them.
I got heaps of others but I’m still missing my personal 4th fave. The Villager
A month in & Gamestop still doesn’t have the new amiibo up on their fucking website. Sure, the pre-orders are ridiculously sold out (how in the flying fuck do you sell out of fucking pre-orders, ugh!?) but it’d be nice to see them on the site so I can order one from their website for when, if ever, they are available again. Since they aren’t up yet, it’s making me think Gamestop won’t even bother with putting the next group of amiibo that release online. In turn, this makes Gamestop lose out on making money from me ordering the amiibo I want through them. Good job destroying what little trust I do have in you, Gamestop, since until now, I haven’t been let completely down by you bastards!
