Now this is a good incentive to pre-order Splatoon in the United States. If you decide to pre-order the super colourful shooter at Toys R Us then you can grab an amiibo of your choice for only $5. Who knows what amiibo will be in stock at your local store? But if you’re after a certain one then you had better get down there rather quickly.

Well, I already pre-ordered at Gamestop back in March, so unless I cancel, I’m not getting any extra rewards (unless they announce anything before the end of the month)

ToysRus don’t have a very wide selection of amiibo, They only have commons in stock. You can definitely use them to get ones you don’t have yet. You aren’t missing out on any rares though.
Toys r us has the biggest and best selection by me. Target, best buy, wal mart, and gamestop have terrible stock and really small shelf space.
… Any amiibo? Or any common amiibo, as the rare ones sure as hell ain’t gonna be there for you to scoop up for 5 bucks. Glad I’m not into the amiibo craze. Got a handful and I’m good with that.

Because nearly every amiibo I pre-ordered from them was shipped carelessly, and they all had some sort of package damage. The 3 Lucario amiibos I pre-ordered ALL had damage to the packages. Because whoever works in their shipping department doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing. The Lucario’s were put in the box in the wrong direction and got crushed. IDIOTS!

Myself, my brother, and my niece all wanted one. I’m no scalper. I ended up with two Lucarios myself in the end (from having them ship replacements to me).
