Guitar Hero Live is the latest of the Guitar Hero games, attempting to revamp the series with a new twist. The guitar layout is brand new, and you play to a real reactive crowd, who aren’t the most forgiving. They’re now starting ‘Tracklist Tuesday’ where they release more songs from the game every Tuesday, and kicking it off are the first 24 songs you can rock out to in Guitar Hero Live. They made a point of wanting to focus on a wide genre of music, not just Rock, and you can see that a bit in this list. Which is your favourite song on the list?

Not that I care, because I hate music games like this. But, why has there never been an Elvis Presley music game by now? We got Michael Jackson: The Experience. And let’s not forget the various Guitar Hero and Rock Band games, some based on the Beatles and Aerosmith etc. Why not Elvis? He’s the freakin’ KING!
They DEFINITELY changed up their lineups compared to before.
Maybe it’ll be more mainstream.
Im really interested in how they did the coding for the crowd reactions. Would the game glitch as it reacts to the player?
There us a flash of light when the crowd changes
It’s not hard to simple change a video, it probably scans to your band first then back onto the crowd so there won’t be a weird break in the crowd animation
Only 1/3 of these are actually any good.If this is how the full song listing is gonna look like(excluding any future dlc) then this game is officially not worth anyone’s time or money
Judas Priest, System of a Down and Rage Against the Machine seem to be the only good ones on there..

Deadmau5 is far more talented than skrillex. Skrillex even stated he has no idea what he’s doing and fans just eat it up.
Meh,don’t really care about who’s better between the two.That kind of “music” just isn’t my cup of tea.
Guess its just my childhood of playing GH3 that wants more Rock and Metal songs speaking. No one I know would even think about Skrillex or the like when talking about GH or rock in general
Honestly real metal and rock died in the 90s, far before guitar hero was a thought. Skrillex shouldn’t be in cause he sucks and cause he is not a guitar player. Deadmau5 shouldn’t be in cause he’s electronic. Calling it guitar hero at this point is stupid if they are gonna have genres with no guitar. There is some really good electronic music out there by the way. Don’t let skrillex ruin it for you like he has for so many. He singled-handedly ruined dub-step and made gave people a completely different sound from what true dub step is. He literally just makes a bunch of stupid sounds and really sucks at it. Dub step isn’t just a bunch of trash like that.
Here is some actually good dub step. Still might not be your taste, but it’s light years ahead of skrillex:

Paint it Black by the Stones and Guerilla Radio from Rage. Maybe the chili peppers. Chop suey is when system of a down became mainstream and trash. Everything else on here is trash. But let’s not act like we didn’t expect a casual game for casual fans to have casual music.
Regardless if it’s when they became mainstream… If you don’t like Chop Suey, you don’t like System of a Down…
You can like their original album and style. I wouldn’t call myself a fan, I would just say I only liked their first album.
When the Stones are the least shitty band in your lineup, you know you’ve got a problem.
Stones are actually pretty raw if you listen to their non radio stuff.
There was a playlist I saw that was horrible with absolutely no known songs…
Was it another game or they just changed it due to tremendous negative reactions?
