Dual-Stick Shooter Vector Assault Hits Wii U Next Week

Vector Assault will be released on May 21st in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U for $4.99. Developed by one-person studio WizByte Games, the game is described as a fast-paced dual-stick shooter in which you have to survive an onslaught of enemy attackers. Players can compete against their friends and other players to see who can get the highest score on the online leaders. You can also play cooperatively with a friend in local multiplayer.

  1. I don’t get it. If you’re going to make a game that looks just like another, shouldn’t you try to make it different or better in some significant way? This looks so slow.

    1. Maybe it’s a conspiracy by one company to get the same people to buy a game twice! Just under different title and developer.

      Pretty good idea for lazy people though.

  2. This is the most blatant ripoff of another game I’ve seen since the last Geometry Wars ripoff, GridWars.

    But at least that one was free (until Microsoft shut it down).

    IMO if you’re gonna get this get the Wii Geometry Wars. At least then you wouldn’t be playing a ripoff.
