GFK Chart Track has released this week’s UK charts, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One take up the first 15 spots as Kirby and The Rainbow Paintbrush steps up slightly from 18 to 16. There are no new Nintendo entries this week, although Mario Party 10 is still going strong at 28– up from 37– in it’s 7th consecutive week in the charts. Mario Kart 8 appears again in at 37, and there are no Nintendo 3DS titles in the charts this week. Take a look at the charts yourself, and let us know what you think!

and here we go again, we will have the UK hater who going to say: “UK is s**t, tasteless in term of gaming”,then on the same comment details their hatred about the games which are on the chart only because they are not Nintendo’s game, insult the hole kingdom again but don’t look at own country where the chart is nearly the same…. I don’t care about what else is on this list. All I care about, is that Mario Kart 8 is a beast of a game. I am certain, that no Wii U game has appeared on the Top 40 for the U.K, as much as Mario Kart 8. The DLC is really doing it’s job, it’s attracting new customers, while keeping the current customers interested. I am indeed curious about how Mario Party 10 is doing so well. It does seem like the U.K are more into below par/meh/yearly games. The U.S is somewhat similar, but the U.S list is based on a monthly timeframe, so it is more likely to differenciate enough compared to the U.K chart, which is based on 1 week timeframes.

I find it so weird how new posts never appear here until like 6 or 7 a.m. usually (1 or 2 p.m. UK time). I’m always online most of the night, and there’s never anything until then.
It’s funny how FFX sells so well again when they have already released it on the PS2 AND PS3. Apparently everyone loves that title but HATE FF13. In my opinion neither are the best of the series. That would be 3 ( THE REAL 3 NOT 6 ), and well also the real 6… 9 is good too. A lot better than 7. No really, it is.
I have high hopes for 15 too. The demo was fun and the new gameplay is a god send. They made the right choice, mimicking the gameplay everyone does love these days aka their other big hit Kingdom Hearts. Turn based games can still be fun but if you do it today you gotta do it right. And that’s not the easiest. Better ,leaving it for the more niche games like Disgaea and Shin Megami Tensei.

The WiiU actually has games Charting in the UK. What people do not realize, is that unlike Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo is making money off their IPs Mario Party, Mario Kart and Kirby and the rainbow paintbrush.
