A couple in Pennsylvania had a Legend of Zelda-themed wedding this past Sunday, May 24, at a local GameStop, where they first met. As you would guess, the bride wore a dress inspired by Princess Zelda and the groom donned a Link outfit – complete with a hat, belt and brown boots. After getting married, the couple stayed in the video game store for a bit longer to play a few rounds of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Their wedding was widely covered by multiple media outlets via television broadcasts and online publications.
That’s actually pretty sweet, dorky, but sweet. Congrats to the couple.
One question though, why no tights link?

Inspired… not directly. Do you actually expect them to get full exact cosplay? They’ve done well enough with what they could make for themselves, while matching items… hmm… maybe those “tights”? Oh yeah! His outfit has chain mail like design on his outfit. Just like Twilight Princess! I know this was just to poke fun at him, would’ve been hilarious if he did wear tights but it’s clearly suppose to be Twilight Princess, so the joke just doesn’t poke me in the tummy for the giggles it does for you. Sure I’m coming off anal now but hey, just thought I’d point out a few details.
Not to forget that the belt or sash over his chest splits into two parts, which doesn’t for tights wearing Ocarina Link but yet pants wearing Twilight Link wears over his chest. Sorry… still being anal but why not match your princess by specific game? Maybe Twilight Princess was their favorite game or just designs of Link and Zelda but prefer Ocarina of Time and don’t want to wear tights? I dunno…
But I do agree with you Ms. God! It would be most entertaining to see him in tights.
Well Skyward Sword link also has that sash/belt, and he also wears pants, so it could be that too. :l let’s just agree that he should’ve done a Young link cosplay. Nothing screams Zelda theme wedding like creamy blinding white legs.

I thought the same thing at first but it’s where they first met so it actually makes it a lot more special. Games brought them together to GameStop and love happened.
