Lifespeed, the newest New Nintendo 3DS exclusive title by Wee Man Studios, just released a payload of new screenshots.
The premise of this galactic racing game follows protagonist Cypher Reid in his battle to stop a genocide (called Lifespeed) which happens to be settled on the race track. For a New Nintendo 3DS title, the game looks graphically impressive for an eShop game (especially when comparing it to Metroid Prime: Federation Force).
Lifespeed will feature 8 different tracks in 4 worlds, 9 other racers, 11 playable characters, an online world leader board, and varying difficulty levels.
There is still no official announcement regarding release date or price for the futuristic racing title yet. Check out the screenshots and trailer below!

This has been in the works for years as we are a very small team with only one developer to do all the code including the engine. We could not have predicted the sudden fashion for these type of games!

Its an episodic game with a storyline so we hope to implement online racing in the second episode. For now we just don’t have the resources for more than online leader boards! Maybe we will get you with the second episode :).

Yea, I really don’t think that it should have been in there. FF on its own is a very cool game from what I’ve seen, and the graphics are not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
There’s a good chance I’ll be buying the game based on gameplay — I don’t think that excuses the graphical fidelity of a second-party game, especially when other games by them
like Luigi’s Mansion looked pristine.
Game is not coming out until next year dumbass but if it looks supposedly bad how so many people view the game and if it doesn’t improve then deal with it and stop bitching

If they didn’t want people judging early builds, they wouldn’t show it until it was more polished.
I don’t run a charity with how I view and assess games media — when something seems unimpressive graphically, I don’t give it a pass because it is my favorite genre. I have a lot of hope that things turn around and development polishes it up, but without the stark criticism it received, I doubt Nintendo would have been as concerned as they rightfully should be.
I’d prefer to let my complaints known to the dev so they are aware why I may not buy it and try to fix it pre-launch than not saying anything and not buying the game at all.

Don’t judge games too early people talk all kinds of shot about games but then when the games come out they the games and kiss ass they didn’t know a good amount of information about the game until near release but they should hold the judgement until they know much more because then they may miss out on a game they really like

We’re the graphics in the beginning of the trailer ( when it’s first person ) in engine? They look extremely amazing and makes me think of the capabilities of the New 3ds.

I’m not a massive fan of racing games, let alone F-Zero/Wip3out clones – but multiplayer would sway me. Get some Download Play, Local & Online then we have a deal.
