Square Enix has revealed that they are hard at work on a new Final Fantasy Adventure game. Platforms haven’t been announced but glancing around on various message boards suggests that it’s either for handhelds or mobile and smartphone devices. The original Final Fantasy Adventure was a spin-off Final Fantasy title for the Game Boy in 1991 and was fairly well received.

Final Fantasy Adventure was my first FF game when I was 7 or 8 – so many good memories of that game.
Please be for 3DS, or even better for the WiiU!

Probably 3DS. I just can’t see thins kind of games on mobile. I hope it comes to Nintendo’s systems, the Game Bouy ones were the shit.

If I’m not mistaken, at least one of those three was Japan only, and the original trilogy (especially the first one) are the better known games.

Nobody calls it “Final Fantasy Adventure” anymore, it’s a MANA game from the MANA series. Not Final Fantasy. Please just stop using 90’s names.
I doubt this is going to be on a Nintendo platform. It’s more likely to be mobile as the “starting” could mean it’s availability for download.
3DS will only get rythm games and Bravely from them anyway. If we’re lucky, more PS2 ports but no brand new title…
