New Super Mario-themed Hot Wheels cars have begun hitting store shelves. The special-edition designs were revealed earlier this year, and each one was inspired by six different Mario classics: Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros., Dr. Mario, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3. Some of the toy cars also have the Super Mario Bros. 30th anniversary logo emblazoned on them.

COMPLETELY missed opportunity to make Mario Karts.
But these are still quite nice.
Hmmm. I said damn near the same thing when these were first announced. Missed opportunity indeed.
Mario karts would be cool, and hopefully they will will make them. But these are supposed to highlight Mario’s anniversary. That spans all of his games, not just Mario kart. They also have that special ” retro” feel that coincides with Mario Maker. It makes too much sense to make these.
i already have 3 sets of plastic mariokarts. they’ve done that to death. need more mk8 dlc instead!!!
