Completely spaced out on the fact that Europe is only now getting this tomorrow. Hope they didn’t forget that the U.S. still needs it outside of the $300 console bundle.

You’re confusing it with the ‘Classic’.
Modern was openly available separately at Walmarts in North America. I know because I bought 2 of them and sold both of them the following week.
Damn it. I actually preordered the Classic from there.
I still don’t consider this Mario amiibo “modern”. Mainly because Mario of today isn’t a pixel.
You want them to call it ‘Newer’ then? It’s modern due to the colors.
