Michel Ancel, the critically acclaimed video designer behind Rayman and Beyond Good & Evil, has revealed that he is currently splitting his time between his PlayStation 4 exclusive Wild and an extremely ambitious title from Ubisoft which is very close to his and the team’s heart. Ancel was asked whether the “extremely ambitious new title” was the long-awaited Beyond Good & Evil 2. Here’s what he had to say.
Ubisoft teased that Ancel would be creating “an extremely ambitious new title that is very close to his and the team’s heart”.
“Haha! Who said I was working on Beyond Good & Evil 2? I can’t talk too much, because this is not Ubisoft!”

Yeah whatever. We’ve been waiting twelve years for this game with off and on reports of it being in development. Been there, done that already with Duke Nukem Forever.
