Nintendo has confirmed that Fire Emblem Fates will be available in two versions in Europe. Fire Emblem Fates: Special Edition will include all 3 stories (Birthright, Conquest & Revelation) & an art book. We have yet to receive a release date for the game.
Fire Emblem Fates Coming As Special Edition In Europe

This was the best part of the direct for me, Fire Emblem. I’d probably enjoy getting the games digitally, but I’ll have to see the special editions first!
So how much is this special edition going to cost our Nintendo UK comrades? And how much is that in US dollars?
This was the worst part for me. NA gets release date, EU doesn’t. FUCKING SHITE. Just screw the german/french/spanish/italian and whatever translations and bring it over, English only (people might as well learn to speak it. It isn’t even my first language, but I like it more than my native language.) on the same day as NA. Geez. I love Fire Emblem, but I’m tired of being shit on because I’m in EU.
Because the are way more countrys in europe than in na, we have a lot of different laws regarding censorship, and since fe sint as popular in europe already, only making it english would be even worse which might cause no more fire emblem in eu at all
Does anyone know if the special bundle edition will go live for Europe at a later point? I will be very sad if that is not the case, seeing as every single store has sold out already when it comes to the North American version of the special bundle edition (no longer available at either Best Buy, GameStop or Amazon)
I was wondering the same thing – I am in the UK and want to buy the special edition but cant pre-order it anywhere. I can pre-order the singular games but cant pre-order the special edition. Frigging annoying!
Thanks for the replies :) For better the worse, I was able to get my hands on the American special edition, but due to additional fees, I might actually get a bad deal out of it. Yet waiting to see if the European version will be just as good or better, and waiting for the actual release date made me decide to do it though. But let us see what the future has in store (literally and figuratively).
That wouldn’t be the case Peter, because of Region Lock, they will have to make new ones with EU games inside
This is the only place I’ve heard about this, so while I’m hopeful, I’m also pretty sceptical.
