The latest episode of Did You Know Gaming is currently available on YouTube and this week the team has taken a look at the development history behind Nintendo’s colourful shooter, Splatoon. We already know that Mario and company were initially considered as the main characters featured in the game, but it has also come to light that Nintendo was considering plain squids without transformation abilities and also bunny characters. Be sure to watch the video above to learn more about Nintendo’s grand plans!
Nintendo Was Considering Having Bunnies As Characters Of Splatoon

What is up with Nintendo and bunnies? I don’t particularly like the Badge Game ‘Knickle N Dime’.

Oh yeah, they had this up a few days ago.

This is known ever since Iwata asks.. if I can remember it well..
But it’s cool anyways.
I feel like this was mentioned before in the past… I want to say during E3, but I could be very wrong.
Wonder what it would have been called….
Splaboing!
Splarrot!
Splunnies!
Splaboing is now my ‘word of the day’. :)
Heard of the phrase “fuck like rabbits?” It was born from the fact that rabbits can reproduce in a very short amount of time & thus produce a lot of bunnies in no time at all. Like rabbits able to produce a lot of bunnies in a short amount of time, Nintendo is adopting mobile gaming & all of it’s micro-transaction goodness with games like Nintendo Badge Arcade. See where I’m going with this?
And then they bring Ubisoft on board and the game stars Rabbids.
