It’s another day and of course it’s time for another end of year games list! This particular list comes from GameSpot and there aren’t too many surprises as the Witcher 3 has once again scooped Game of the Year 2015. However, it is nice to see Splatoon, Super Mario Maker and the recently released Xenoblade Chronicles X feature in the list. What do you think to GameSpot’s choices this year?
1. Witcher 3
2. Rocket League
3. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
4. Bloodborne
5. Super Mario Maker
6. Fallout 4
7. Ori and the Blind Forest
8. Rise of the Tomb Raider
9. Tales from the Borderlands: A Telltale Games Series
10. Kerbal Space Program
11. Until Dawn
12. Splatoon
13. Cities: Skylines
14. Dying Light
15. Xenoblade Chronicles X
16. Just Cause 3
17. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
18. Her Story
19. Undertale
20. SOMA
21. Project CARS
22. Heroes of the Storm
23. Halo 5: Guardians
24. Evolve
25. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
Undertale needs to be WAY higher up the list, along with Xeno X and Splatoon. Also what’s so great about rocket league? It’s just like soccer with cars. How does it beat all these other GREAT games?
Coming from a Nintendo/PC gamer,Rocket League is the most fun, addictive and skillful game there is right now.It would be a blessing to come to Wii U.
Undertale was neat, but is vastly overrated by its diehard fanbase. It’s fine where it is in my opinion.
I still don’t understand all that fuzz around Her Story, honestly. I haven’t personally played it, but seen others do it, and it really doesn’t look like much of a fantastic *game* to me. Not saying it’s bad or anything, it just doesn’t look like something I’d necessarily call a game in the same sense like I call The Witcher or Splatoon a game, for example. Seems to be more of a visual novel, or interactive film. I’ve seen someome livestream it, and most of the time, you just sit there, watch and listen to her talking, and make a couple clicks inbetween just to continue listen to her talking again. Like, you don’t even have to read by yourself actively. So I personally just don’t see how something like that can be called a better gameplay experience than full-fledged games that are lower on this and other lists.
But yea, that’s just me, of course. Taste is subjective, after all.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate should be higher up on the list. It was a true return to form and felt like a fresh, new experience at the same time.
Favorite games of 2015 or all of the games in 2015?
Xenoblade X should be number one. I have not had this much fun with any game in a long time.
Of course xcx is gonna be on the list
Undertale? It’s not a bad game but it’s not that amazing.
Kind of expected both Mario Maker and Her Story to be much lower. So many of those games were way more interesting than both of them were.
Ori and the…. available on Steam ranks higher than Splatoon for these fucktards…. not a good sign.
*scratches head* Why isn’t Splatoon, Dying Light, XCX, Undertale, & Assassin’s Creed Syndicate higher than Kerbal Space Program AND Her Story!? From what I’ve played of the Dying Light demo, from what I’ve heard of Undertale, & Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, from how well Splatoon is actually doing despite my problems with the game’s initial release, & from what I expect of XCX, they should be a hell of a lot higher than those two games.
I’m not sure but I don’t think those are in order.
Found a waifu in Da Ji, have we? lol Damn it! Now I got the urge to go play some more Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate on my Darth Vader PS4! Thank you… asshole..! xP
Haha no problem. I played Warriors Orochi 2 but I’ve always wanted 3. Especially because of the Ninja Gaiden characters.
These are all good games on their respect. The order does not matter that much, its the author’s opinion. What is wrong is that the Wii U should be in many more houses than it is right now, so that many more gamers can enjoy its excellent games.
