DICE Event: Satoru Iwata To Be Honoured With Lifetime Achievement Award

Late Nintendo president Satoru Iwata will be honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the DICE Awards. The award ceremony takes place on February 18th in Las Vegas. As noted the award is only given out on very rare occasions. Other iconic individuals that have received the award include The Father of PlayStation Ken Kutaragi and early Nintendo of America presidents Minoru Arakawa and Howard Lincoln.

  3. Now I can understand the award given to Ken, but what exactly did the two other guys do to get it before much more deserving people like Miyamoto or Yamauchi?
    Anyways, Iwata is very worthy of this award. What he did for the industry was really over looked when he was still alive.
