Late Nintendo president Satoru Iwata will be honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the DICE Awards. The award ceremony takes place on February 18th in Las Vegas. Other iconic individuals that have received the award include The Father of PlayStation Ken Kutaragi and early Nintendo of America presidents Minoru Arakawa and Howard Lincoln.
DICE Event: Satoru Iwata To Be Honoured With Lifetime Achievement Award

>>>Hallowed is Lord Iwata forever and The First Order shall avenge him>>>
The First Order? Iwata wasn’t Darth Vader.
Or was he? Dun, dun, dunnnnn!!!
>>>The First Order of The Holy N is different from the other one of which you speak of>>>
>>>Except that the Xbots must be purged completly from the surface and underground of any world they infect>>>
Achievement Unlocked: Gaming Legend.-1,000,000,000,000 points.
#SatoruIwata You will be missed.
With more and more awesome things we’re learning about Iwata (like that it was his doing that brought Pokemon to the west), this comes as no surprise- the man deserves it and then some.
It was also Kimishima the current president who paid attention to North America and had it brought over.
Future human descendants will not know him like we did.
Damn Iwata you merite that award with all the good stuff that you did I really hope that you’re doing good in the paradise!:(
he deserves better awards than that. there’s only two Nintendo games nominated and they aren’t even from 2015.
You mean Shigeru Miyamoto never received one of these awards? That’s very surprising.
>>>His lordship received this among things>>>

Now I can understand the award given to Ken, but what exactly did the two other guys do to get it before much more deserving people like Miyamoto or Yamauchi?
Anyways, Iwata is very worthy of this award. What he did for the industry was really over looked when he was still alive.
