    1. Jaded Ridley Bowie X3 {R.I.P. David Bowie, the One & Only Goblin King!}

      Seriously, dude. Fix your circuits. Even your videos’ titles got typos!

  1. Oh my freaking goodness!! I’ve been waiting years for this! Dang, I wonder what took them so long. Everyone else in the world has had this wonderful little game for over a year now.

  2. I’ve actually been powering through Super Metroid on my Wii U, and was contemplating purchasing an overpriced copy of this game on eBay.

    But for $8, I can have it here and now.

    Finally! Of course, they would release it when I’m taking a break from my Wii U right now, though! Well least it’ll be there waiting for me for when I do get back into my Wii U.

  4. As a side note, maybe this a first step in making amends with the Metroid fanbase after the E3 fiasco. If anything, the petition proves there’s a very loyal (and rabid) fanbase waiting for more of this. I’m sure many people will download Zero Mission, hopefully Nintendo will get the message.

      1. That’s a much more obvious case, they’re obviously throwing the fanbase a bone with that. It’s a good way to see if there’s real interest (meaning, people willing to spend some money) in the franchise.

  5. Good old times. This remembers me of the day and age that gaming used to be challenging. Brief tutorials, almost no mid-level checkpoints, limited number of lives and continues, so on, so forth.

    *sighs*
