US: Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition On The Wii U eShop February 4th

Good news for Resident Evil fans in the United States as the critically acclaimed and frankly brilliant Resident Evil 4 is set to arrive on the Wii U Virtual Console. The game will be available to download from the Wii U eShop on Thursday, February 4th which is precisely when Nintendo updates its latest eShop offerings. You can catch a trailer of the game, below!

  1. Chains of Lucifer X3 {Let the shackles be released! Or fall forever!}

    At this point, we’d be better off waiting for Resident Evil HD to get a PS4, or a PS5, remaster with some DLC costumes not found in the game. We know this game will get another remake/remaster somewhere down the road since it’s considered one of the best Resident Evil games before RE5 took 4’s mechanics too far into Call of Duty territory.

  2. I was kind of hoping for a Wii U release of RE4 HD. The entire point of the Wii U was to be better than the Wii, not just a complicated way to have to re-buy Wii games for more money years later. Even a 3DS port would be more welcome news.

  3. i already own the retail version, had it for a few years, if i remember correctly im on the hardest at the island, not remember what part but i do remember a part after fighting krauser in a qte for the first time

  4. January 2005: Resident Evil 4 is a GameCube exclusive. February 2016: Resident Evil 4 is available on EVERYTHING
